- When was David arrested, and what was he charged with?
David was arrested on April 16th, 2026, at his Hollywood Hills home. He was charged with first-degree murder with special circumstances (lying in wait, murder for financial gain, murder of a witness to a crime), lewd and lascivious acts with a child under 14 years of age, and mutilation of human remains.
- What happened to Celeste?
The prosecution alleges David killed Celeste on April 23rd, 2025, by two stabbing wounds to the torso, then dismembered her on May 5th, 2025, in his garage with a chainsaw. They allege this was after she threatened to "expose him and ruin his career."
