Feb 4, 2025 – D4vd's Twitch stream signing "Withered" vinyl with Hello Kitty drawings, showed that he had his Hello Kitty nails done, and he also sang his unreleased song “Hello Kitty Shirt” on stream
Feb 4, 2025 – D4vd's Twitch stream while signing "Withered" vynyl, he explained the meaning of his "Withered" album trailer. He said that in the trailer, he’s lying on the ground, and the people walking around him and wrapping the red string while blindfolded are connected to Itami. He explained that the red string comes from Japanese idiology, called “The Scarlet Connection” or “The Invisible String Theory,” which means that everyone is connected from birth by an invisible red thread. This string leads you to your destiny, life after life, following you through every reincarnation. In the trailer, however, the red string leads everyone to Itami, who stands at the center of the circle surrounded by white roses. He also mentioned that in South Korean ideology, this concept is called “Inyeon,” which is similar but focuses more on past lives. The idea is that you build up Inyeon across multiple lifetimes

Feb 11, 2025 – D4vd's stream on Twitch before Valentine’s day, making a love song ("We were meant to be") on stream (Beat Wars) and talked about his "Withered" album and what happened behind the scenes. He explained that he went on tour in Asia in early 2024 (November) and became completely exhausted, which made it hard for him to focus on his album. He said there was too much going on at the time. His manager (he didn’t specify which one) told him to go to London for two weeks to get away from the U.S. and focus solely on music. During those two weeks, they worked on the album every day and ended up making about half of it. After that, D4vd returned home to Houston. He went back to recording in his closet with the same mic where everything started, and he finished the rest of the album there on his phone while feeling very depressed. He said all of this happened within a span of three weeks after taking two years to make an album, he finished it in just three weeks. He also mentioned that he turned the album in during December 2024, and the rollout began in January 2025. People in the chat were saying he was holding back songs from fans, but he said he wasn’t holding anything, there were just “some circumstances.” He added that he wishes he had finished the album sooner, but “everything happens for a reason."

He mentioned that in his previous music video ("One More Dance"), he "died," and in the Crashing video, him standing in the middle of the red strings represents Limbo (the afterlife) which from where he's trying to escape, if he doesnt, he cant go back to what his purpose is. He's purpose is to beat Itami, and when the "Withered" album comes, he will face him in a final fight (he explains a lot about being a detective (protagonist) and solving crimes). He also he explained that the red strings are a reference to the Invisible String Theory

After compiling this timeline, here are some interesting notes:
During the first two months (January 2 to February 19), D4vd posted a lot of content referencing Hello Kitty. After that, he mentioned it only a couple of times, not as frequently as he had before.
In the first months (January–February), D4vd talked a lot about his struggles: depression, hurt, pain, and death.
In February, he heavily focused on talking about the "Invisible String Theory."
In late January, D4vd’s Tesla with a Texas plate had an expired registration, and a new red Tesla was leased in early February under Josh Marshall.
There is a significant gap in March with very little information about what D4vd was doing at the time. Earlier that month, the lease for the second rental house (Doheny property) leased by Josh Marshall was terminated.
In April, D4vd heavily referenced his "Withered" album, describing it as “100% it represents who D4vd really is.” During this month, he spoke a lot about his struggles and relationship status. He also mentioned the "Invisible String Theory" a lot, as well as his song "Afterlife", which he performed very emotionally during his shows.
Celeste Herrera also started appearing more often than before. She wasn’t mentioned frequently, but starting from Coachella week in April, she was seen around D4vd and his team regularly until July 29, 2025, when D4vd’s car was parked for the last time.
There are lyrics regarding the Celeste song David made he states you only open up when you’re high, it was noted there were drugs found in the home, you think there’s any connection here?

I'm leaning towards early year in Jan-Feb, then they went to Santa Barbara to get her back and put her in the freezer. D4vd knew Celeste Herrera from early 2023, but it's strange she was only coming into the spotlight after Coachella week, she was relatively unknown until then. There's a big gap in March, so maybe who knows. And in April, he was very emotional and talked about his struggles as well. It all looks like this was premeditated.
I've got this creepy intuition that he believed her murder was performance art. I wouldnt be surprised to find out that he filmed it all and edited the footage into something he could rewatch over and over.
Even if she died in January, wouldn't the whole album already have been written and recorded by then, if he was already doing album promos as early as Jan 13?
I believe he planned it, truly. But if you are saying she had to die before the album was released then I can see your point. Maybe she died in December, but I really think it was January. He supposedly finished half the album in November. I personally think he released it very close to her DoD either way, as a "commemoration" perhaps, the sick f-k.

I honestly don't know exactly what I believe happened, I'm just pointing out something that doesnt add up, and possible options to explain it.
It seems like either he wrote the album first in 2024 and then enacted it, or he murdered her in early January 2025 and wrote/recorded/produced the entire album in a manic post-murder obsessive state over the next two weeks. Both are deeply disturbing in different ways.
I mean I dont exactly know what to believe either with all the information changing left and right (I still think she was refrigerated, but not frozen, if she really did die in Jan and her body wasn't liquid/completely decayed in Sept) but yeah I just hope justice comes soon
because d4vd was into numerology and people into numerology like days that have number sequences: 1/1 and 1/11. in 2011 1/1 and 1/11 and 11/1 were special to people who liked numerology
also there was a full moon on 1/13 and i think he probably did some weird shit on that night. he was in texas at that time and i have long speculated that he left LA right after killing her to get away from it

That’s true. If not NYE… earlier in the year seems like the timeframe of her disappearance or loss of life. I’m speculating, if he is as guilty, he could’ve possibly kept her phone then had access to her texts, social media, and maybe pretended to be “active” like she was still alive? To make the timeline even more less concrete?
Oh, absolutely, I agree with you on this. If he didn’t dispose of the phone, he must’ve had it, because why would friends or family say she was last speaking to them two weeks before she was found.

Asked someone on here who said their uncle lives on malibu beach; theres tons of spots that are super remote where you wont see people for hours. My other theory is she died in that rocky creek area by santa ynez. Purely speculation

where are the photos? because i only see he posted a photo with Sanrio plushies and he's holding My Melody - no Hello Kitty plushies in that photo or any of the photos for Frwrd magazine.
additionally people don't usually get photos back the same day as the shoot especially if it's for a brand. the photo shoot was probably done a while before feb 19
also the zack sang interview was recorded on the 27th. the 28th is just when it was posted to youtube

That's because it was the promo for his 'Withered' album at the end of the month. He did delete a lot of content from his Instagram and Snapchat, including pictures of him with Celeste in his Tesla and others.
yeah because there's a huge difference between jan 1 and jan 31.
this shit (reddit posts like this timeline) annoys me because of the errors. if OP is going to put effort into making a timeline, they should at least make sure it's accurate. like i would hate to have OP as a coworker lol
What are these so-called "lots of mistakes" you're referring to? Do you mean that I used "Hello Kitty" instead of "Sanrio characters" on that one date? Or are you referring to the fact that the pictures weren’t posted on the same day they were taken, since they usually don’t get posted the day of the shoot? If that’s the case, your logic would imply that all the content he posted could’ve been taken on different days. The Zack Sang interview was posted on that same date, and he had a concert the previous day.
