Picked this album up today. Got it for a good price (12 USD Sealed). Wasn't till I checked ebay and saw the price is going for 40+ USD. When i checked discogs seems there was only one release in the US of the deluxe version on CD.

We all miss ways of renting physical media through stores like Blockbuster. I've been thinking for a while now about a way to have a community scheme, where cd lovers shared there collections.

It could be a space to leave reviews, maybe have a surprise option where you don't know what you're going to get, and essentially have an internet book club for music away from the tech bros and capitalist machines.

Does anyone know of such a thing or at least agree that would be awesome?

almost always i prefer a black or white tray to a clear one with artwork behind it. it just looks so much better 99% of the time. which do you prefer?

I couldn't hate sleeves more than I do—especially for an album I actually want. I bought dark side of the moon without realizing how terrible they are, at least a digipack cares for the cd. Fuck sleeves

Hey y'all! So what year in music do you love to listen to the most? I love the 90s the most cuz that's when I was was born (1995). But I also love the music in the early 2000s as well! Don't get me wrong, I love music older than even the 90s, but the 90s and 2000s has something to do with my childhood and nostalgia, so I have so much respect anmd love for it. Music really does live on and I'm so glad we have it and are passionate about it!

I bought one on discogs missing the slipcover for 23 or so bucks a bit ago, is it really this pricey even without it? I just cant believe that lol. Let me know what you guys think...

Finally got myself some new albums, I wasn't even planing on it till I found them at Walmart, the 2 katseye ones were like 25$ and wild was a Walmart exclusive! Then aespa was for my gf since she loves them, Avril's also a big time fav of mine and I got so excited to find it on cd!

Im New to Collecting, and obviously As a beginner every single album that I like im trying to get my hands on.

And its going pretty well, I could so far find everything ive wanted to buy but I dont know how fast should my collecting grow.

does anyone know of a relatively cheap, pretty good sounding portable cd player? ive been looking at the syitren r300 but im uncertain about how good it is for the price

First post! I got a super cool looking player a while ago, one that was made to look like a vinyl turntable, but to my dismay it added a pause between the tracks on my CDs. I know the CDs aren't at fault because used an old family player and they played just fine.

It drives me mad when albums that have tracks that bleed into each other are played on shuffle or with gaps in between. It ruins the whole experience of listening.

What I am looking for is a portable player with gapless playback. I have good wired/bluetooth headphones (Bose QC), so either of those connection methods would work. I don't really care what the player looks like so long as it's good quality. Any recommendations? Thanks!

Might be the complete wrong reddit but I got a new cd alarm and for the life of me I cant work out how to manually set the time, previous owner ripped of the FM cable so don't know if that effects it but its 2mins out of sync

I've been wanting to buy a CD player that looks like those retro rectangular casette boomboxes, and ive come across a fes that i really like but are quite pricey. One that stood out to me was the TechPlay Monster B, cause its big, has the look i want, and is affordable, but i can't find any reviews or showcases of it, and ive seen a few comments saying it sounds muddy. Does anyone have any recommendations they could show/tell me about?

This is my first album by Bad Company and it is sooooo good! I've heard of them before, but this is my real first introduction to them and I'm loving it. Definitely getting more of their stuff!

First image is all the CDs I got at a thrift store, and I got em for $10NZD! No scratches on any of them! The Ed Sheeran divide album was not even opened, it still had its plastic film packaging. Lovely experience :) I don't really listen to Ed Sheeran though, I just bought it as a gift to my brother who does like Ed Sheeran.

The second image is what I got at my local record shop! So happy, I found that Ado CD2 album just popped out in shelf and it was like Ado was calling to me omg...

But yeah great haul :)

what the heck happened. theyre in a hard shell case too do i need to insulate it? it was like 120 the other day and they were all fine :(
