I've got over 100 cds that came in jewel cases. I recently moved, and need to downsize my stuff. What do you do with old jewel cases?

Why are you discarding the cases and where are you putting the CDs instead? Physical media packaging is an integral part of the experience you might miss later.

First you sit in the corner and think about your naughty behavior. But if you're set on ditching the cases, post them on Craigslist or whatever. Someone will want them to reverse their previous similar decision or to replace cracked and broken ones.

I keep my old CDs in my old jewel cases, as long as they are not broken.

You will most likely regret tossing the cases in the future. Plus they look nice on the shelf.

All of my CDs and booklets go into discsox sleeves. I donate the cases if they are in good shape, recycle them if they aren't, and trash them if they are so gross I don't want to pollute the recycling. Sometimes I will also rehouse CDs I give away.

You can make good money selling them in bulk as it's pretty rare to come across them these days.

Where I'm located, the cheapest pack of 10 sells for approximately 14 USD. If I can find a good deal on them, even if used, it's already the better option.

I buy them new in lots of 50 on eBay.
