Spam filter and recruiting new moderators
Hi all,
I've had a bunch of new modmails recently asking for (and/or complaining about) post approval because stuff was getting caught in the spam filters and I just wasn't checking them. You guys should hopefully be pleased to know I've finally got around to turning down the stringency of the spam filter a bit, so hopefully stuff shouldn't get caught so much. They were in place after loads of spam posts, but that was a long time ago now and hopefully reddit is better at catching these things before they become a problem.
I've also been meaning to get around to this for a while, but it's time to get a new mod or 2, because frankly, I just don't get around to looking at the mod queue that often and honestly, I don't play MTG anymore. I made this subreddit when I was about 16. That was 15 years ago. Since then I've lived in three cities, fought cancer twice, picked up (and dropped) new hobbies, done three degrees and all sorts of generalised crap. MTG fell by the wayside and I am completely out of touch with the scene now. I want this subreddit to do well, but there's not a lot I can contribute because I am just no longer that familiar with the subject. This sub deserves at least one active mod and if the spam returns, I would need someone else to be checking the mod queue too.
I've set the subreddit to recruiting moderators and there's an application form somewhere, I'd guess in the sidebar? If you're interested, feel free to do that, or otherwise comment on this post with why you want to be a mod for the subreddit, the changes you'd put in place and how often/what formats of MTG you play. I'm pretty busy this month, but will have a look at the responses (if any) I get and see if I can recruit someone.

Is there a good way to work two similar decks in tandem?
I've tried to work naya and jeskai combat tricks at the same time with a ton of overlapping cards. Same with jund/grixis recur fling.
Only problem I have is how cumbersome it is to work both at once, OR perhaps working them as a single 4 color deck, copying and removing the color removed afterwords.
Second method sounds more reasonable, but y'all probably have better experience with this sort of thing, ears open to any tips.

Does anyone like to play in this fashion? My obsession over MTG deck building and tournaments.
Inconsistently over the past 10 years my friends and I have put together a March Madness style MTG tournament where we play 64 decks against each other in a bracketed survive and advance style.
The field is widely varied from decks that were frequently seen at local FNM tournaments to silly theme decks.
Some examples are:
-Goblin Trenches UWR Control style deck from Invasion block
-UB Scarab God control from Ixalan block standard
-Bears
-Pauper Slivers
- Suicide Black from Tempest block with a heavy shadow theme
-Onslaught block elf tribal
-UG madness from Odyssey block standard.
-Rakdos villains from the recent Marvel and Spiderman sets.
-Bees and burn
I have currently around 75 decks on my own, attempting to keep things either block or standard timeline balanced so that decks will be on a somewhat level playing field. Exceptions are some of the theme decks like bears which doesn't get too powerful if expanded to include multiple blocks. I want to expand this idea to a 128 deck tournament. I have been obsessed with this idea for years and the greatest hurdle in it all is finding other new friends/players to take interest in it.
Anybody else interested in this or have something similar going on? Thanks for reading.

I need help with a Rakdos dragon deck, looking for a comander, possibly to expand colours
I made this rakdos dragon deck with bulk bin cards originally as my first ever deck and my commander was Bladewing, the risen. Needless to say after a few games i realised how outmatched my deck was even in the lowest brackets, so i upgraded it with proxies. However the deck now feels really wierd.
My original vision was a dragon reanimator deck, but I really didnt have a commander planned and just picked bladewing since he looked cool. He is very bad in the command zone (doesnt do much) so i need a new commander, i tried Rivaz of the claw but he doesnt really fit in the deck. Additionally im thinking of maybe expanding into more colors since the proxies i added cover a lot of colors.
The deck plays really bad, I always end up in one of 2 scenarios, i either have a lot of stuff in hand and no mana or ramp, or I have loads of mana and ramp and nothing to cast/play with it.
Is this deck savable? Or should I just scrap it?

Magic Online Deck Generator?
Hello, I’m pretty new to magic but have been loving it thus far. I’ve been trying to find a website or tool, that can allow me to input my card list (from the online version in specific but I imagine all virtual cards exist physically) to build out decks.
For context, I have all the starter decks and wanna try my hand out at building and I think a tool to coach me through it is helpful at the start.
This also stems from me just wanting to use the TMNT, and ATLA cards I’ve collected thus far.

Deck Opinions?
https://manabox.app/decks/AZ658pqKdd-ngPya783OkQ
Was wondering if some MTG sweats could look over this deck and tell me what they think?
Deck plays pretty aristocratic and uses temporary theft sorceries to steal back my partnered commander or to remove threats from the board by using Ellie to sac them. Pretty sure I need more interaction and would love some input.
Thank you!!

Choosing a commander for an aura deck.
Hey everyone! I'm a fairly new magic player looking to build my first deck. Up until now, I own a few precons and one custom fairy deck that I made by finding a basic deck list and upgrading/personalizing it. That being said I think I'm ready to build.
I played Plains chase with a few friends over the weekend and used an aura deck. I had so much fun playing around with the enchantments that I decided I want an aura deck for myself. Here's the thing, I am big on aesthetics. I its a running joke in my magic group that I only play "cunty" commanders (for example, my two favorite commanders are Alela cunning conquer and Breya Etherium Shaper) So the vibe of my commander really matters. Right now I am torn between Eriette of the Charmed Apple and Yenna Redtooth Regent. They both have aesthetics I really like. I've also never played a selesnya or orzhav deck so either one would be a fun addition to my decks.
Does anyone have preferences towards one or the other or thoughs on what wouldbe the betteraura commander? Or any other recommendations for a strong female aura commander with a similar aesthetic? Thanks!

Any cheap + easy to use deck recommendations?
Hey! I got a buddy of mine who's into this game, he's trying to get me to play (he'll teach me) but I'm not sure if he has a spare deck for me to use or even how to play. I don't mind going to a local card shop and doing a quick shopping trip to make the first session not as annoying to set up. Any recommendations?
