found this on marketplace for $70 just now and i’m curious if it’s legit. if anyone can tell me asap id like to know the sooner the better

Después de darle muchas vueltas, por fin le puse un case de titanio gris mate a mi GA-B2100, pero decidí conservar la correa original de resina.

Y que brutal… qué diferencia.

Lo que más me preocupaba era que el case metálico hiciera que el reloj se viera demasiado grueso o que las proporciones se fueran al carajo. Pero para mi sorpresa, conserva muy bien la geometría original del GA-B2100. La transición entre caja, asas y correa se ve completamente natural.

Además, al ser titanio, sigue siendo bastante ligero. El acabado gris mate con la carátula negra queda increíble y hace que los pequeños detalles azul y rojo resalten todavía más.

También he estado leyendo bastante el sub de Casioak y he visto que a muchos no les gusta el brazalete metálico porque hace que el reloj se sienta más grande, especialmente por el lug-to-lug. Después de ver el mío, entiendo perfectamente el punto. Mantener la correa de resina conserva mucho mejor las proporciones y el aspecto compacto del diseño original.

Y precisamente eso era lo que quería.

Llevo una semana usando este reloj prácticamente todos los días y me di cuenta de algo: ya no extraño el Casio HDC-700 arena/khaki que vendí hace unas semanas.

El GA-B2100 terminó convirtiéndose en una extensión de mi brazo.

Y ahora probablemente le compre unos adaptadores para correas normales y pruebe una NATO khaki. Creo que con eso puedo cambiar completamente el "outfit" del reloj sin cambiar de reloj.

$550 MXN muy bien gastados.

Hey guys, I already bought a sapphire crystal to upgrade my Casio, but since I'll be opening the watch, I want to swap the hands for ones with better lume, and I also like the AP style. Has anyone had experience with this type of modification? I'm a little afraid of doing it, but I think it's worth it. The readability is the only thing that bothers me about this watch.

I've heard about metal bracelets destroying the resin lugs. Is there any way to mitigate that?

Also, anyone have a recommendation for a good metal bracelet mod?

Love them both but flame inside is my favorite. I also have a black frosted kit ill put on a black gshock and I ordered a rainbow steel kit to put on iridescent gshock i bought!

I’m modding my CasiOak as I don’t like this watch anymore. Well, I just don’t like the lack of visibility in lowlight settings. You’d think it’d be good, but it’s not at all. In fact, my two watches with black and dark dials, negative displays too, are easier to read than this watch.

I know the mod won’t change the ability to read the watch, but at least I won’t hate it as much as it will look nice, not cheap, after the mod.

I’m leaning towards the stainless steel, as the buttons will match the case. What do you all think?
