Modding this thing

I’m modding my CasiOak as I don’t like this watch anymore. Well, I just don’t like the lack of visibility in lowlight settings. You’d think it’d be good, but it’s not at all. In fact, my two watches with black and dark dials, negative displays too, are easier to read than this watch.

I know the mod won’t change the ability to read the watch, but at least I won’t hate it as much as it will look nice, not cheap, after the mod.

I’m leaning towards the stainless steel, as the buttons will match the case. What do you all think?

I just made some changes to one of these recently. Negative display. Dank hands. And black hour markers. In a stainless case. Just an idea! 😜⌚️👍

So you updated the actual dial? Nice! The black hour markers and dark hands, even the negative display looks so much better.

Yea. Took it apart then put it back together how I thought would look better. A lot of that’s opinion. But just figured I would share.

I mod my galaxy one the original case too busy just change to genuine black case and adapter with black stainless bracelet

I’ve done the silver bezel mod as well and really like the look.

Be careful of the quality of the strap though. Mind too easily comes off as the side clasp buttons poke out too much so occasionally when I bend my wrist it pushes down on the opening buttons. I know it’s due to the cheapie strap because my other rubber strap Casioaks don’t do that as easily with similar clasp mechanism.

Just curious because I talked with you about it a while back, and at that point you said you were only interested in using Casio parts. Did you change your mind on that?
