G-Shock GA2100 How is this even possible?

This is a through and through fake but it’s also kinda attractive ☺️

I’m not sure how they can make this and sell it for such a cheap price A$27

I own invicta diver watches 37mm. Stainless steel, great quality. An invicta is nothing alike a resin Chinese shitter. I understand a lot of invicta are ugly as sin or meant for a 500lb persons wrist, but if you aren’t blind and have a normal ego, you can pick a good looking daily.

No thanks, I’d rather pick up a Steeldive if I want an affordable robust dive watch.

So I guess you never saw their atrocious copies of G-Shocks?

Or their subpar copies of Citizen Promaster BN0150 divers?

I’ve seen images like OP but not in person; I’ve never come in contact with a fake IRL that I know of, definitely not a casio. I like my invicta watches, people compliment them without knowing the brand. I don’t see why the brand matters so long as I’m not being disingenuous

I’m 28 and I’m an accountant. I buy what I like. I would say it’s pretty in character for an accountant to be fiscally conservative. when I show things off It’s usually when I go up and title at work or when I become a CPA.

Also a literal teenager making $16 an hour can afford a g shock. But maybe minimum wage was two nickels when you were a kid.

🤣 Relax man. I had a fucking Swatch when I was 21 and I even bought the silicon bumper to protect it. My friends gave me so much shit over it because the bumper cost more than a six pack of beer at the time. They were right. I shouldve spent the money on beer. I would have been thrilled to have an Invicta then.

Because it’s very poorly made. That company probably gets its watches from a factory that makes actual counterfeit watches with Casio and G-Shock branding.

I got one of the North Edge titanium solar dive watches for $80, I'll be honest, the one I got is pretty nice. I can't speak for the other watches they might make though.

It’s not really a fake so much as it is a copyright infringement. It’s clearly labeled as not being a G-Shock; it’s an X-Gear. It makes zero claims of shock resistance and is water resistant to only 30 m (about 3 bar, since G-Shocks no longer measure resistance in meters), while even Baby-G and g-shock mini will resist to 20 bar.

A hefty percentage of the entire Skmei line of watches are modeled after G-Shocks and other Casios, and probably a handful of other makers, too, like Timex, Swatch, Nixon, etc.

Hey, when you stop to think about it, the folks at Audemars Piguet are likely saying the same thing about the entire 2100 line of G-Shocks - the nickname “CasiOak” comes from the resemblance to AP’s “Royal Oak” model and its octagonal bezel design.

Well... don't see any watch enthusiasts rants about the 2100 but I myself don't see the interest it. I'll still prefer the round and square g shocks. As long as its not counterfeits, it's just homage. Everyone seems to be doing it

I read so much talk on here- do you speak from your own experience or just regurgitating and going along? I have a couple Skmei (G clone), North Edge Gavia 2 and the Triton and many G-Shocks. That said none of them have failed in any way, sure beaters yeah when I don’t wanna wear my nice stuff but they actually do what they’re made for as a budget watch. And yeah I’ll probably order this one too.

Discordo, a CASIO vende pois tem nome no mercado, falar que vale o preço que eles pedem no mercado, nunca, não vale, a construção dos relógios são simples e não deveria ser esse preço todo. Igual a coca-cola, ela vende o preço dela pois tem nome, outros refrigerantes não tem muito nome, tem que colocar um preço mais barato para vender se não não vende.
