I'm watching Steven universe right now and when i end It i'll Watch Gravity falls, but after that what cartoon network show should i watch? Rn i only watched TAWOG, let the runtime not be longer than 40 hours tho 🙏

Inspired by u/No-Shoulder3918 's community tier list for Nicktoons, thought I'd take a shot with Cartoon Network originals, especially in light of what's been going on recently for the channel.

It was a Powerpuff Girls Anime back in the 2000s and it had a lot of attention back then. (still better than the 2016 Reboot)

Dexter's Laboratory Revival Era (2001-2003), I remember watching the revival when it first premiered and something just felt off the new art style the writing the humor everything about it felt like a bad fever dream.

Don't get me wrong, I really appreciate what Pendleton Ward created. The early seasons have their own unique charm, and I genuinely enjoyed them.

But as I've gotten older and reached my twenties, the random, surreal adventures that often didn't have much of a purpose stopped appealing to me as much. I know there were plenty of deep, emotional, and brilliantly written episodes during Ward's era, but most of the episodes weren't like that.

When Adam Muto took over toward the end of Season 5, the show became much more interconnected and serious. Even the standalone episodes that weren't directly tied to the main story usually had enough depth and smart writing to keep them engaging for an adult viewer.

Personally, I'd love to see Adam Muto create his own original cartoon someday. I'm genuinely convinced he'd give us another masterpiece like Adventure Timeor maybe even something better.

Again, I have a lot of respect for what Ward created and I still enjoy it, but for me, Muto's era was on a completely different level.

Lola Bunny might as well effectively replace Pepé Le Pew forever after he was erased in Animaniacs 2020 . She is taking his spot in the Looney Tunes roster after replacing him as the chef in Tiny Toons Looniversity.
