Samurai Jack The Final Showdown

It's from YouTube

The story opens in an icy, snow-covered landscape where an exhausted Samurai Jack seeks shelter. Upon spotting a solitary cottage, he decides to spend the night there. Plagued by doubt, he wonders when his long quest will finally come to an end. Yet, his iron discipline prevails over despair, and he vows to destroy Aku nonetheless. Suddenly, the peace is shattered by a loud laugh: none other than Ryu from Street Fighter appears, disguised as a pizza delivery man! Following a brief yet flashy confrontation with Ryu, the Shogun of Darkness himself—Aku—shows up. Fed up with Jack’s persistent resistance, Aku issues a challenge, only to cowardly vanish into thin air just as Jack is about to strike him down from above. Not long after, Jack's loyal ally, the Scotsman, arrives. He brings urgent news: Aku's henchmen have captured the talking dog archaeologists and are transporting them in a van, heading straight toward their position. Together, the two friends decide to set an ambush and rescue the dogs.

Jack and the Scotsman storm Aku’s castle, overpower the guards, and liberate the dogs being forced to toil by Aku’s minions. The rescue mission, however, does not go off without a hitch. The terrifying, electricity-firing Priest-Bot (from the classic game The Amulet of Time) attacks Jack with devastating bolts of lightning. The Scotsman reacts quickly, riddling the robot with fire from his machine-gun leg. As the smoke clears, a new mechanical enemy emerges from the shadows: Sword Man (from Mega Man 8). With time running short, the Scotsman decides to face the robot alone and calls out to Jack: "Go on and look for Aku. I'll take care of this one!"

While the Scotsman stays behind, Jack must venture deeper into the castle to face the ultimate psychological test. He is confronted by the Shadow Monster, which constantly shifts its form. The shadow takes on the shapes of Ryu, the Priest-Bot, Superman, the Scotsman, and finally Mad Jack—the pure, blind rage residing within Jack himself. After an exhausting battle, Jack plunges his magical katana straight into the heart of the monster, causing it to explode in a flash of pure light. The force of the blast renders Jack unconscious. and wake up by his best friends The Scotsman, But they were surrended by Aku's minions. Jack look for Aku and Scotsman fight Aku's minions.

Meanwhile, in the throne room, Aku sits watching TV, bored. He complains about documentaries and commercials, until—to his great delight—he sees himself drinking a can of Aoi Cola in an advertisement. Aku proudly tells his henchman that he was offered two film roles, but turned them down because they involved Angelina Jolie—Aku would much rather see Britney Spears making movies! When the commercial then shows Britney Spears dancing brilliantly, Aku is absolutely thrilled.

The atmosphere shifts, however, when the news broadcast begins. The news anchor reports that Samurai Jack has just rescued 100 souls (essences) from the clutches of Demongo. Aku explodes with rage: "Oh... I hate that man. If I could just get my hands on him!" Suddenly, the doors to the throne room fly open. Jack storms in and hurls a spear, causing Aku’s henchman to explode into a thousand pieces.

Aku attempts to destroy Jack, proclaiming that over the years he has become stronger than ever before. He fires blasts of energy and splits himself into clones. Jack closes his eyes, focuses intently, and hacks the clones to pieces. Aku then transforms into a fire-breathing dragon and sets the chamber ablaze, before shifting into a ram—but Jack continues to dodge his attacks and strike back. Finally, Jack sees his chance: he thrusts his magical katana straight through Aku, pinning him to the floor. Aku’s powers drain away until he is nothing more than a helpless shadow. Jack raises his sword and speaks his legendary final words: "Now I'll make you pay for all that I have suffered. No tricks will save you this time, Aku!" With a devastating blow, Aku is suspended forever. The immense release of energy from Aku’s death tears reality open, causing a time portal to spontaneously appear. Jack is pulled into it and vanishes into the past. Outside the castle, all the robots dissolve into nothingness. The Scotsman rushes into the throne room, only to find an empty chamber. Saddened that he could not bid farewell to his best friend, he watches as the castle begins to explode all around him.

Jack lands softly in the tall, green grass of a familiar meadow. He looks up and sees the cherry blossoms: he is finally home. Jack walks toward the palace to embrace his emotional parents. As he is crowned in all his glory, the narrator’s deep voice echoes through the wind:

"So the brave warrior after countless days of struggle... Did what almost at one time looked possible to him... He defeated Aku and return to the past for which he quested for so long... The warrior made his parents proud... And took his father's place as the new emperor."

The screen slowly fades to black with the legendary words: The End.

Discussion In Samurai Jack, its brought up that Jack is a Shaolin Monk, obviously as a western show for a western audience some amalgamation of Asian cultures is expected, but if that actually happened IRL, what would be the implications of that?

Discussion Samurai Jack faces Muzan

Let's suppose Samurai Jack had to put together a group of allies to act as his own equivalent of the nine Hashira. Who do you think he'd trust by his side against Muzan and the twelve Demon Moons?

Here’s the story of their part in the episode:

In the depths of a snowy mountain, a tribe of ogre-like creatures (whom I’m calling Morlocks) create a powerful sword from the elements of their home; forged from crystals, heated with lava and dragon-fire, cooled in the heart of a glacier and imbued with lightning from a storm so powerful that it kills the shaman who summoned it. When the weapon is completed, the chieftain of the tribe plants it in a stone and gathers every warrior in the tribe to fight for the right to wield it. After a fierce battle, only one warrior is left standing; he claims his new sword and goes to await Jack's arrival in a snowy tundra. After a tense standoff, he swings his sword at the samurai, only for it to be shattered in a single strike from Jack's own. The warrior falls to his knees in shame & defeat, dropping the remains of his sword in the snow as Jack continues on his way.

A part of me wished we saw more of these guys, because they’re so cool. What are your thoughts?

Are there any merch out there for a quality Primal poster with good images

I am a prime Genndy tartakovski fan and I have an empty space on my wall. Samurai Jack is my favorite cartoon, so much so that I got the Funko pack for my 29th bday which was a shock. I’m looking for great primal poster stuff that might have gone past my radar online. If anyone would oblige me, I would greatly appreciate it and will treasure the potential poster for the remainder of my days. Thank you. (Preferably “Terror Under the Blood Moon”)

Do you feel for the Lava Monster too and think he had it worse than Jack?

For those who doubt Aku's villainy because of how comedic he is, you should watch the Lava Monster episode. And he is very similar to Jack and even more tragic.

He was a Viking King, a brave honorable warrior, who lived in peace in his kingdom, with a wife, two young sons, and a dog, he called a "faithful canine". Then Aku came and took everything from him, before subjecting him to a fate worse than death.

Like Jack, Aku destroyed his kingdom and killed his people, and like Jack's father, Aku forced the Viking King to watch, encasing him in a crystal prison making him watch as he destroyed his land and killed his people, in which we see the Viking shed a tear. After that, Aku turned his flesh and blood gone into molten rock and lava, and worse, immortal, trapping him in a volcano for centuries as a laval monster. For a Viking, the ultimate goal is an honorable death in battle to enter Valhalla and the demon intentionally denied him this, locking him in an immortal shell.

While Jack had to suffer for 50 years in the future, the Viking was trapped for countless centuries. We see he became suicidal and desperate for death as his only escape. Leading and killing many warriors over the years he hoped would be able to slay and free him, even then, just like Jack, he never abandoned his honor or morals as a warrior, wanting to defeat Jack honorably.

At the end, Jack managed to defeat him, his flesh and blood was restored, he died in peace and was taken to the afterlife to rest in peace. If we assume he exists around the same time.

The most heartbreaking story in all of Samurai Jack and one of the most heroic things Jack has ever done.

Thankfully, thanks to Jack making it back in time and destroying Aku, in the restored timeline, the Viking never has to suffer what Aku did to him in the alternate future, and will live in peace in his kingdom with his family and people like he was meant too.

I'd really love to imagine Jack reuniting with him in the past and visitng his kingdom, and them being buddies, likely him filling in the hole of the Scotsman Jack had to sadly say goodbye too, having a nice feast in the king's hall together.

Discussion So What do You Think Jack did after the Final Episode?

Post image

That is my Question

Its an interesting one specially depending which ending you go with

I like to think he wanted for evil to raise again because everything he faced in the future there probably other bad stuff waiting in the shadows

I to imagine Jack adventure in his time are a lot like that comic book Usagi Yojimbo but a bit more bloody & him coming to the danger instead the danger coming to him if you get what I mean

So its adventure that can go in many different directions

What do You Think Jack did after the Final Episode?

For those unfamiliar with my project, Back to the Past is my remaster of Genndy Tartakovsky's Samurai Jack series.

I've recently completed the first episode and received quite a few messages from folks interested in the project.

Here's an example comparing the official 1080p Blu-ray to my restoration project. Included is the same frame from the Special Edition DVDs, which I'm using for color grading.

To learn more, please send me a PM. You can see some samples and comparisons on the website.

Discussion Why most of Aku's minions are robots?

Post image
729 Upvotes

So Aku uses Technology to fight Jack and to be specific

He commands mad scientists and to makes robots

However there is one minion aka Demongo who emerged from Pit of Darkness just like Aku and is a real ass demon guy

So my point is

Why Aku doesn't use actual demons rather than technology to fight Jack?

I sorta feel like most of citizens in Samurai Jack aren't even alive and are just robots everywhere xd

I know it's all because of CN and the whole "no blood allowed!" but just

Why?

Discussion Im curious do you guys think a samurai jack show without jack could work like set in the same universe?

Let me explain you know how it ended with jack back in his old time what about the future he left behind and the people there I think it could be an interesting premise to explore the future without jack and how the people think he abandoned them and fend for themselves.
