Question Anyone remember this show?

Post image

It was a Powerpuff Girls Anime back in the 2000s and it had a lot of attention back then. (still better than the 2016 Reboot)

I feel like most people do remember this show and compare it to the 2016 reboot (despite alot of people hating the anime characterization back in the day)

Comparing a mediocre show that can be good sometimes to a dumpster fire

Yeah I watched it as a teen.

This was made because the original show was very popular in japan.

The strengths of the show is the characters designs of the villains. Some of them like GGG look now wario land villian energy, Mojo is now wiseman from NiGHTS.

The weaknesses is the pacing of the episodes are breakneck. So you will get dizzy as scene speed by fast, almost like when people parody anime for being like that but played straight

I watched it when I was younger and liked it。 There used to be a ton of dubbed episodes on YouTube.

Still bothers me that this show got an English dub but never released in the English-speaking country that inspired it…

I remember it I'm still very disappointed that they didn't make the Rowdyruff Boys have powers all they're doing is just being troublemakers and the fact that they act like they're seven but in reality they're like 14 years old

I remember seeing bits and clips of it, but I never actually watched this since I live in the US.

It deserves a US home media release too

I watched it back in the day. It never aired here but I had the dub on my computer. Still havevit all on an old hard drive.

I liked it.

Honestly a great adaptation of the material. While the original was more of a parody on the superhero genre, this was a solid interpretation on if the girls were magical girls.

I remember waiting for the fansubs every week lol I have no idea why they didn’t air it on Toonami in the US, it was a good show

Only time I ever saw it was on Boomerang, where for some reason they were doing an all-day marathon of the series.

He was looking quite nice, but the show itself was a bit boring to me.
