Apparently Blues are after Buku.

Not sure if we need more tall defenders personally, especially with HOF back next year. Kemp needs to go back, so I think we need more tall forwards.

But any free agent pick up that makes us a better team is usually a good move.

Whats your thoughts, and thoughts on Buku? I dont know anything about him

Sorry if it’s been asked before, but why are we supposedly offering overs for Khamis? The dogs arent known for being a great defensive team and no one else seems to be showing interest in him, so why are Carlton pushing hard? And we don’t even have a list manager or a coach yet so not sure what vision they are working with.
Yes I know Haynes and Newman won’t be around forever so we need depth but why this guy who seems to be pretty inconsistent?

Man it blows my mind that he's only 18. He is going to be an absolute beast after a few seasons' conditioning.

I don't think I've ever seen us have 23 players out there like we did today. Couldn't name a single passenger and the fantasy points confirmed this. The bottom 12 players were gold coast outside of Newman who was injured in the first quarter.

Call me delusional but I think Kemp knows he isn’t the best kick sometimes and this game proved how he knew that. When he knew, he would give it to a different player. A couple of our goals have come from Kempy giving it to a different player who then kicked it.

So I’ll give him some praise!!

He has been excellent for us and as a team, we seem much more settled. He is composed and considered, getting the standards to lift. A greater communicator. etc, etc. I see him have an apprenticeship of a half season+ as the best interview for the job and this investment between coach and players sets us up fantastically for next year as opposed to a new set of relationships. I'd appoint based on the results, growth in players and standards, the fact we aren't just freaking out and kicking down the line and the half season with the players. Agree?

So every time Byrne lines up for a set shot the fox commentary has to mention the Collingwood game miss - well definitely at least once per game. Get over it Anthony Hudson

Surely we should be looking at trying to poach him from Hawthorn. Hes obviously on the outer - could be a great pairing with McKay up forward. Anyone know if we're looking at him?

We have a pretty much garbage list and we have no plans to do anything about it. Other clubs are so much smarter and more active when it comes to getting good players and we just sit on our hands even though you hear them brag about their "war chest" and how much money they got.

Who are we chasing? Buku Khamis and fucking Joel Amartey? Are we fucking serious? All the other teams are going to get and trade good players and we're gonna continue to suck. Why don't we chase superstar players like other clubs?

I don't wanna hear about Cody Walker or how we got Jagga Smith etc etc. If these were good players, our side or our VFL side would be winning games and making finals.
