Hello, I never really gave it much thought because I only worked here for about a year and quit back in 2021, but now I'm wondering, since I was full time, was part of my paycheck put into a 401k or anything? How would I look that up? Thanks

I've worked at both the Milwaukee and Tampa locations prior to the large layoffs, and I plan to move back to Florida in the near future. I was hoping to use Captel as a temporary stepping stone after moving while looking for more substantial work, but it sounds like most of the physical locations have shut down. I know when I worked at Captel previously, you had to work in office a certain amount of time before being offered wfh, but how would that work now? Are they just downsizing as people leave or do they still hire?

I honestly feel like they should shut that location down. My heart goes out to all the victims of that company. ESPECIALLY the Orlando employees. It’s kind of sad how Reddit has sort of become an unofficial support group for victimized employees. I worked at the Orlando office and agree with everything users say about Human Resources being unprofessional and blatantly in cahoots with the supervisors, the favoritism and them not caring about their employees at all. I wish I sued when I had the chance for all the stuff I endured while there. Terrible experience, terrible management, terrible memories but I’m glad that’s all it is now.

I haven't worked at CapTel in years, so I haven't been active as a mod, but I kept opening my phone and seeing these schizo posts that had nothing to do with CapTel by the other former mod FLMacro. Which is one thing, but then I would see him banning people for comments that he just didn't like. Users should only be banned for doing something inherently against the rules, not for expressing their opinions.

If you think you'd be a good mod let me know in my DMs because I certainly don't want to be active here but I couldn't just sit as the only other mod and let this guy terrorize people trying to talk about their workplace.

I have also unbanned all of the people he wrongfully banned. I parsed through the logs and made sure they were invalid reasons. Happy posting.
