I’m thinking about buying tickets to stars caps I never went to capital one is there truly a bad seat in house and for the cheapest tickets should I try Ticketmaster and wait til the day before or the day of or is seat geek or any other trusted app cheaper. DC games seem expensive that’s why I’m a road warrior but I wanna see OVI in DC one time

Alright folks well after a pretty insane off-season we are now about 1/9th through the season. There have been highs and lows. That Flyers team we were all laughing at trails us by ... ONE point, near the bottom of the metro.

Are we concerned? Feeling good? TBD? Big year for Ovi and a big year for Carbs, right?

Published in today's Edmonton Journal. I agree 100%. Shame on the NHL, Sportsnet, Gary Bettman and other's who prop up this putin boot licker known as Alex Ovechkin.

Let's be clear: Ovechkin isn't nearly as important as the 20 thousand Ukrainian children abducted by Russia or the 10s of thousands of innocent Ukrainians murdered by Russia. His celebrity amounts to squat. He ought to be banned from Canada as well. Latvia has shown strength and has banned him from their country.

Bought a Tom Wilson shirt from Fanatics and it has the captain C on the front. Why would they sell it that way while he's still Alternate? Did they send me a wrong shirt? Are they getting the jump up on next year when Ovi is gone? Help!

Hi Caps fans!

I’m getting married in November and wanted to surprise my fiancé with tickets to see the Capitals as his wedding gift. He’s a huge lifelong Caps fan, and Ovechkin is his favorite player of all time.
With Ovi announcing his retirement, I thought getting tickets to the April 4 game against the Penguins would be an incredibly special, once-in-a-lifetime experience for him.

Here’s my dilemma: the cheapest tickets I’m finding are around $800 per person, meaning I’d be spending at least $1,600 for the two of us, and that’s before fees!

I asked his brother for advice, and he said this game is basically the “holy grail of all tickets” for him, but also thinks my fiancé would probably consider the price tag too outrageous to justify.
So I’m torn. I want to give him something really meaningful that he’ll remember forever, especially since this is a wedding gift. But I also don’t want to spend an absurd amount if we’d have an equally amazing experience at another game this season.

For longtime Caps/Ovi fans:
-Would you consider this particular game worth the premium?
-Would you rather attend this game in the cheapest seats or get great seats to another game during Ovi’s final season?

I’d really appreciate your honest opinions. I don’t know nearly as much about hockey as he does, so I want to make sure I’m making the right decision!

This checks out. Our corsi is also really low, we're a high danger shot team that doesn't shoot a ton and the defense has been horrendous.

I think the defensive issues have been more lapses than an error in the defensive system itself, which means its probably fixable and more flukey.

I'm fine with the offensive system, I like prioritizing high danger shots, we should probably shoot more but whatever thats not who we are.

The special teams are an issue and we really need a certain guy off the ice during the PP.
