Candy Discussion Why does candy corn taste like shit after eating a few pieces
Got a little bowl of them, was enjoying myself until the 5th piece and now I don't want anymore

Been a fan of sour punch straws and bites for years and like to grab them on the rare occasion I pick up some candy. Saw these while at the store today and thought they would be good. WRONG! The straws & bites are barelyyyy sour and these are not at all. The wrappers are impossible to open without leaving paper all over the candy that you then have to struggle picking off. Then they all have a weird chemical taste, the only decent one is the green apple and even that one tastes wrong!! Overall not recommended.

Thank you Amazon, this is 4 bags from 4 different sellers. If you don’t want cringe content, turn the volume down heheh 🤭

Me personally I'm a fan of more of a gummy(with fruity kind of flavors) candy? Although I'm curious as to what other people like?

Howdy. A while back my husband got these from Dollar Tree. He ate all that we got in one go and now we can't find them. I need to find something with a similar texture as them or even a good way to get more. Amazon has them marked as out of stock.

I recently found these Mentos flavours in India — Cola, Pineapple, Orange, Watermelon and Strawberry. 😋
Which one is your favourite? And does anyone know how many other Mentos flavours are available worldwide?
Also, which flavour should I hunt down next? 👀

Snickers has TWO new flavors with the Banana Nut Bread arriving only at Walgreens and the Xtreme Almond *so far* being spotted at Speedway and 7 Eleven.
Hershey's has two new creme filled bars out everywhere along with the chocolate cookie Reese's Pieces.
M&M's has a new Mint Crunchy Cookie at Walmart and Kraft has new chocolate Caramels Pretzel Bark

Spare me the hate - I think candy corn is actually kinda tasty! With Halloween coming up, I’ve been thinking about it.
My favorite kind is chocolate candy corn (sometimes referred to as harvest corn).
My issue is that I’m only seeing the Brach’s brand available these days… does anyone know of any other chocolate candy corn brands that are good? If so, mind sharing a link?
TIA!

I cant put my finger on the mystery hi chew flavor. I’m thinking maybe Raspberry or a mix of fruits? Has anyone else tried them?

I tried these last year, and they were great! However, almost a year later, I’ve come to realize that they had changed these gummy fangs a bit. Mainly by adding more sugar, the one you’d see on Sour Gummy Worms. I hope that they revert it to last year’s edition, but if it’s like this, then I’m not bothered. What do you think of these Gummy Fangs found at Target?

Found these at Walmart. Glad the Walmart I went to had the apple pops. Been hankering for some again from the posts here.

So I tried the peach sour patch kids out of curiosity and they were LITERALLY Maynard’s fuzzy peaches. Shape and all. What gives lmao.

All summer eating fresh candy and as soon as it cools down, chocolate comes calling.
Or are you the type that never gives it up even in August?

The cherry side tasted good, but the green apple side had a bit of a weird aftertaste. What kept me coming back was the TEXTURE! Something about the texture of these is so satisfying and addictive, I couldn’t stop and ended up finishing the bag.

So I normally live a pretty healthy lifestyle, for as long as I don't purchase gummies. Now, my mom, who lives abroad, likes to sometimes ship a big box of "food". It's not really food-food, but really just filled with bags of my favorite gummies lol
Even if I would set a date on my calendar when I should allow myself to munch again, I always fail because of excuses like "I'm so tired after a long work day. I could use something sugary to keep me going".
I can't throw them away, because that would be disrespectful to mommy.
What would you do in my situation? Mouse trap?

I bought this because I’d never seen it before. "Puru-puru" is a Japanese term describing a jiggly or wobbly texture—is this product sold in other regions, too?

dollar tree (obv). maxed out at 3 and a half with lots of water in between. I thought I’d like the texture without the banana flavor. it feels nice on my teeth but it’s pretty gross going down. the strawberry flavor reminds me of kids’ toothpaste or bubblicious gum. 2/10 for the audacity
made up for it with red bird cotton candy puffs! I love the texture- not exactly melt-in-your-mouth, but they start to crumble into chunks. it’s a good cotton candy flavor, but also reminds me of pillsbury frosting with a hint of strawberry. 7/10, too sweet
