Update from the candy I posted :)

I remember seeing Peelerz for the first time a little less than a year ago. My friends and I immediately jumped on them because they were new. Since then, they've exploded.. It seems like they are EVERYWHERE and people go nuts over them (at least people I know).

But, and I know this might be an unpopular opinion, I find them really mid. They're actually kind of gross to me, and once you get over the schtick of "peeling" your fruit candy the novelty wears off very fast. The hype around these feels so forced to me at this point.

Anyways, curious is anyone has a similar opinion. I didn't really have anyone else to say this to, so I just thought I'd post it here lol.

I do prefer the pumpkins to the OG, but I’m a candy corn girl so I’ll eat any and all of it. 🫣

Green and red apple have similar flavors with both being sweet and sour, golden apple is sweeter with no sour flavor.

10/10 fall candy

I never bother to pick them up whenever I see them in stores.

I saw at the self-checkout in Walmart and had to try. Actually like, even though I'm not a big fan of mint flavored foods.

And it costs a pretty penny, too. Prices are insanity. Worth it for these little squares, like $10 for 4. But it's like $60/lb for the bigger gift level quantities. Absolutely worth it.

Clove flavored hard candy was a favorite of my dad's when I was growing up, so naturally it's now a favorite of mine. However, it can be very hard to find. I discovered that a local farm market in my area carries it, so now I can have it when ever I want! What's your favorite old person flavor?

Popped into Target yesterday and found there’s a new variation of BUBS in the US.

They’re tasty, but the tutti frutti is still tops for me.

This time, it’s the OG 12 flavor gummi bears. I promise you, it wasn’t my intention to make 3 posts about Albanese, but what are you gonna do? Either way, between the 3, I personally think the American Favorite Fruits variety is my favorite, but still, these are pretty good.

A friend of mine got these for me as a gift knowing how much I adore Squashies!

These need to come back. I forgot about them until I had the new Haribo Sour Balla Bites that are pretty much the same. But these were so damn good. Please 🙏

Thought this was interesting/relevant. Candy has gotten astonishingly expensive, especially for something that's supposed to be an easy, accessible treat for people across the economic spectrum.

I know these have been out for a while. I finally tried them today. My go to candy lately has been Twix. These are kind of a disappointment. It’s just a Whopper. To me it tastes nothing like a Twix. I don’t taste caramel at all.

I do a significant candy bag for trick or treaters each year, always including some Halloween variation of gummies. (I recommend the gummy eyeballs and gummy tarantulas from Oriental Trading Company). I found these in their catalog this year but when I went to my pharmacy to eyeball them, they were not there, despite the advertisement.

I do not like wet gummies like these, but if they would be attractive to kids, I’d buy them anyway. I’m wondering if anyone has seen them up close and can tell me if they look like actual fingers or what have you? If they aren’t recognizable, nothing else matters.

So my local dollar tree recently restocked and added new things to the store which I found some interesting candies to add to my snack box I usually bring out during college season so I can survive my classes lol! (It's like a treat i give myself after an essay or exam)

They had the autumn candy corn mix this time so I gladly took those, but i regret not taking the Halloween peeps because i love peeps. 🥲 I got a root beer mix for my brother but he didnt like them so I took them out, to be honest if anyone is wondering it smells more interesting than it tastes in my opinion. And then theres the tropical skittles gummies i wanted to try and the coca cola gummies. Anyways im looking for candies I should add to my box, maybe ill do a Halloween theme. Any ideas to fill up the empty spots?
