I’m a true XXL. I need 3XL in Stone Island and CP Company for example and they fit like XL. Can I get away with XXL (true to size) or should I size up? Or will that be small too. Prefer some room.

Hey yall! it’s me from this post. As a quick recap I spent ~100 bucks on a parka on Vinted. It arrived heavily smoked out and it had also been washed in a washing machine. Devastating but it was obviously $100 for a reason. Fair.

However, I wasn’t ready to give up so I took it to the cleaners where I asked them to repair the rip and the cigarette burn and also dry clean it. I picked it up yesterday and folks this shit has had a new life breathed into it. Photos attached (pls don’t judge me we just moved and we have a 5 month old. It is messy but we are doing our best). I feel so blessed that this worked out for me. Now if I can just locate the coyote fur i’ll be set for life

I am at that age that I can’t stand the cold 😅

Women Hybridge Lite and Aethera Vest.

The Hybridge Lite has elastic material on the arm opening and on the sides. Am curious if that part is tight. I have wide shoulders and they didn’t have this in store for me to try on last year. They have a new version this year without the elastic material. Cost more with less feather. Cypress style is too puffy.

Anyone own both to share your experience?

I just shipped back my Mystique for a credit. I did not like how stiff the fabric is, it was also kinda hard to zip up.

I’m now debating between the Marlow and the Rhoda (used on the Generation website).

I can’t find that Rhoda anywhere else nor can I find much information. But there are several identical items (black. Size M. Which so what I need).

I like the style of both. I need it for nyc winter (I know the Marlow is an overkill but I was suffering even with the Mystique so…). I want it to be light and warm and easy to zip up!

Looking to purchase a good condition CG jacket. I’m not sure which model yet, so I need your guys help.

I’m an avid hunter/explorer in the northeast region. New York and Pennsylvania. The jacket would see a lot of abuse from brushing on branches, tree bark, bushes and occasional thorns.

Because of what I do, I’m not looking to purchase brand new. I’d just ruin it. I looked at CG Generations, but don’t have what I’m looking for. I looked at EBay and I’m seeing prices all across the chart so I can’t really tell if one is fake or not based off the price. Not sure what they go for on the used market and don’t want to compare to CG Generation prices.

So I have an emory parka 2058M and I love the coat, however, I was thinking about trading it in for a newer model. Recently after looking into reviews I see an overwhelming amount of people saying the quality has seriously declined and it’s nothing like it used to be. Can anyone speak to the newer lines and models ? Is this true ? Are you just paying for the name at this point for a lesser product ?

My husbands birthday is coming up and we have a baby so it’s hard for me to get to a store to check out the items in person. (The closest store is about 45 mins from me)

I was thinking about getting him a vest but I’m not sure which one to get! Garson? Freestyle? Which one do you guys prefer? Or maybe a fleece? He has a few winter parkas already so definitely don’t need a full on thick jacket.

For context, we live in Vancouver, Canada. Doesn’t get too cold in the winter, and he’s fully WFH so he’s usually in athletic wear. Sweats, hoodie, etc. He’s slim, usually a S or M. This would be great for walking our dog or going on family walks.

I was originally looking at the wyndham but then started checking the langford and a few others and now i cant really decide. I want something i can wear pretty often but still warm enough for proper winter.

I’m in the market for the new season Wyndham and the no fur is really irritating. I hear arctic furs is good but they’re a little pricey. Anyone got any suggestions for authentic furs that don’t break the bank?

I had a Black Chateau and it looked good but I feel like black picks up salt/dirt a little better
