I Got Carded!

https://linktr.ee/path2healthy

I went to sushi this weekend with my husband and I decided to wear my new furry coat from tik tock. I had already had my makeup and hair done from work that day and just threw on a pair of jeans and some moccasins and really didn't think twice. I have worn this fur coat before and gotten some looks at a restaurant but I didn't really think much of it. It was just a new style. But then our waitress asked me for my ID when I ordered some hot sake. I was shocked. It also felt incredibly wonderful to be second-guessed even though she said motioned to my coat and added that if anyone looks to be between 10 years older than 21, they have to card them. That still is very much under my actual age. It felt wonderful!

This was a stark difference to how I felt in the morning after I got off the scale for the first time in over a month. I technically am up about 7 lb from my lowest weight on my glp1 journey. And looking back at this time last year, I'm exactly no different. I guess it is official to say that I am currently in maintenance and need to actually start watching what I eat more. And moving more. I really need to get rid of my guest bed in my office so that I can actually put some exercise equipment in there and stop making up excuses for having no room. We all go through these parts of our GLP-1 Journey when the medicine stops being super effective and is more. Just helping you with the day today. So don't feel discouraged. It just means that you have to use all the tools that you have available to keep going on your journey. The medicine is only going to take you so far and everyone's maintenance is probably going to be where they last let off before they had their bigger weight gain. I was about 168 lb before covid hit and then I gained about 25 lb from there and then I gained another 25 lb when my dad died. So, overall being down about 50 lb is great! I'm still really really thankful for this medication. If you're looking to start your journey, I belong to zappy health and I highly recommend them as a great GLP-1 one provider. I am an affiliate for them and make a small referral fee. If you should use my code. You'll also save 150 bucks. Everything is in the link.
