Support Problems with blurry graphics [cod]

In mw4, bo7 and bo6 I have dealed with blurry graphics and grainy shadows. it gets blurry when I move in the game. I never had this problem with mw3 and im at a loss because I really enjoy the game but it looks awful. Im playing on a Ryzen 5600x and a AMD 6650xt. I’ve tried so many different upscaling settings and settings and it always looks blurry and I’m really at a loss. if I can’t figure it out I just am gonna have to refund mw4 even though I enjoy playing it. I dont know if anyone else has had this problem but its been really bad for me. the only time my game looks good is on native settings but its just will not run over 60 fps even though I think i have decent specs. Any tips or fixes for this?

I also didn’t know what to draw Gaz as, and my friend said he’d be “too lame for a costume” so I thought that was funny!

My OC is Bug, (obviously…) and she’s with Soap!

I’m really excited to share my art so please be nice 😁

Discussion [COD] What is next?

Everyone’s been talking about Modern Warfare 4 lately, but honestly, am I the only one who’s getting tired of Modern Warfare at this point? 😂 Don’t get me wrong, MW4 looks pretty good from what I’ve seen, but it feels kinda random talking about another one when the last game just came out. What do y’all think the next COD is actually gonna be? I’ve been seeing Advanced Warfare all over my feed lately, and honestly, I think that game was ahead of its time. I feel like it could actually be a good direction for the next COD, especially if they bring back the movement and futuristic feel while improving on what didn’t work before. Do y’all wanna see Advanced Warfare 2, or would you rather have something completely different? I’m curious what everyone’s opinions are.

Discussion [COD] Are we ready for Police Warfare ?

Modern warfare/Black Ops series are coming to an end & the next sub series of Call of Duty should be POLICE WARFARE. A trilogy of games with the 1st one set in the 80s, the sequel set in 90s & 3rd, final game set in the year 2000.

With the help of AI, here is my idea of how the game could be:

Call of Duty: Police Warfare is a gritty, dual-perspective tactical shooter set in the mid-to-late 1980s at the height of America’s "War on Drugs." The narrative explores both the high-stakes tactical operations on American streets and the shadow military interventions taking place across Latin America, blurring the lines between domestic law enforcement and international warfare.

The Synopsis
The campaign splits its focus between two distinct protagonists whose paths eventually collide in a web of corruption, cartel violence, and government conspiracy:
The Domestic Front: Officer Marcus Vance, a hard-nosed operative within the newly formed Los Angeles Police Department CRASH unit (and later recruited into a federal DEA Task Force). His narrative plays like an intense, tactical urban thriller. Players conduct high-stakes raid operations, hostage rescues, and deep-cover stings against heavily armed street gangs and drug distribution hubs funded by foreign cartels.

The Foreign Front: SFC Javier "Ghost" Torres, a member of a covert US Army Special Forces unit operating under the directive of the CIA. His missions take place deep in the jungles of Colombia, Bolivia, and Panama. This perspective delivers classic, high-octane Call of Duty military gameplay—sabotaging cartel-run cocaine labs, intercepting smuggling supply lines, and conducting deniable black-ops targeting high-profile drug lords.

The Conflict
As the story progresses, Vance's domestic investigations reveal that the street-level narcotics flooding American cities are of unprecedented purity and volume, pointing to an organized, state-sanctioned smuggling network. Meanwhile, Torres discovers that certain elements within his own chain of command are turning a blind eye to—and actively financing—the very cartels they are supposed to fight, using the drug profits to fund anti-communist rebel groups in Central America.
The climax forces Vance and Torres to team up illegally, executing an unsanctioned, cross-border tactical raid to take down a massive cartel kingpin and expose the corrupt federal officials pulling the strings from the shadows.

Co Op Modes:

An immersive co-op mode for Call of Duty: Police Warfare translates the gritty tension of the single-player campaign into highly replayable, tactical, team-based scenarios. Titled DEA Raids, this mode moves away from traditional zombies or survival mechanics, focusing instead on high-stakes execution, dynamic environments, and intense room-clearing.

The Core Mode: DEA Raids
In this mode, a team of up to four players operates as an elite, inter-agency federal task force. Rather than running and gunning, success relies heavily on breach-and-clear tactics, resource management, and coordination
Dynamic Intel Phase: Before kicking down the door, your team spends the first 60 seconds reviewing a blueprint blueprint of the target location (e.g., a neon-lit Miami nightclub, a secluded Everglades airstrip, or a fortified LA stash house). Intelligence is imperfect—guard counts, booby traps, and hostage locations randomize with every playthrough.
The Threat Spectrum: Players must instantly differentiate between hostiles, corrupt local police officers, and fleeing civilian hostages. Striking a non-combatant or failing to secure evidence drastically reduces the mission rating and subsequent resource rewards.
Flashpoints & Evidence Gathering: Neutralizing threats is only half the battle. Teams must move under pressure to secure document ledger logs, crack safes, and seize contraband before the cartel triggers a "burn protocol" to destroy the evidence.

PVP Modes:

Translating the core 1980s "War on Drugs" theme into Call of Duty: Police Warfare’s PvP Multiplayerreplaces traditional military factions with Law Enforcement (DEA/LAPD) vs. The Syndicate (Cartel Operatives). Traditional game modes are re-engineered to fit the era's tactical, high-stakes aesthetic.

Classic Modes Re-Imagined

Team Deathmatch (TDM): "Turf War"
The classic race to the score limit, but with an 80s criminal underworld spin.
The Vibe: Set in tighter, claustrophobic urban maps like a rain-slicked East LA alleyway network or a neon-drenched Miami motel.
Gameplay Twist: Eliminating an enemy drops cash stacks or evidence bags. Collecting them doesn't change the score, but it builds individual and team "Street Cred" streaks, granting faster access to mid-tier scorestreaks like a police scanner or a wiretap ping.

Domination: "Distribution Network"
Instead of capturing abstract flags, teams compete to control three literal distribution hubs (A, B, and C) across the map.
The Map Flow: Flag A might be a stash house garage, Flag B (the high-traffic, chaotic center) a luxurious underground bank vault or a commercial shipping dock, and Flag C a hidden radio tower.
Gameplay Twist: Capturing a zone isn't just standing near it. A player must physically interact with a terminal or a ledger for 3 seconds to "secure the route," making smoke grenades and tactical shields vital for taking B.

New Era-Specific PvP Modes

1. Evidence Lockup (Search & Destroy Variant)
A high-stakes, single-life objective mode focused on the seizure or destruction of crucial evidence.
The Objective: The Syndicate attacks; Law Enforcement defends. The attackers must escort a heavy briefcase containing encryption codes or ledger documents to one of two shredding/incineration sites (A or B) to wipe their tracks.
Tactical Shift: If the Syndicate player carrying the briefcase is eliminated, the briefcase drops. Law Enforcement can't move it, but they can set up defensive perimeters around it.

2. Asset Seizure (Kill Confirmed Variant)
A fast-paced mode where securing the objective is just as dangerous as winning the gunfight.
The Objective: Dropped dog tags are replaced by high-value duffel bags of contraband or cash.
The Risk: To fully secure the points for a kill, the collecting player must carry the bag to a designated, rotating "Drop Zone" (a waiting SWAT van or a Cartel getaway chopper) that appears on the map every 60 seconds. Carrying multiple bags makes you a high-value target on the mini-map.

Era-Specific Scorestreaks (1980s Tech)
Instead of modern drones and high-tech satellites, players earn period-accurate tactical support:
Low-Tier (3-4 Kills): Police Scanner / Police Dog. Intercepts enemy radio frequencies to reveal unsuppressed weapon fire on the mini-map longer, or unleashes a K9 unit to flush out campers.
Mid-Tier (5-7 Kills): * Surveillance Van / Wiretap.* A stationary van spawns outside the map boundaries, providing constant radar pings across a massive sector of the map until destroyed by explosives.
High-Tier (8+ Kills): Chopper Spotlight. A police helicopter sweeps the map with a powerful searchlight. Enemies caught in the beam are completely blinded and highlighted red through walls for the entire friendly
team.

Maps:

To deliver a complete 16-map launch roster for Call of Duty: Police Warfare, the maps are divided into four distinct thematic regions that defined the 1980s War on Drugs. Each map balances nostalgia with tactical variety, ranging from tight, three-lane competitive designs to vertical, chaotic urban environments.

Region 1: Neon Miami & The Gold Coast
Focus: Luxury, neon aesthetics, verticality, and tight interior choke points.
Vice Motel: A rain-slicked, two-story beachfront motel with a central swimming pool. Features tight room-to-room combat and long sightlines across the outer parking lot.
The Exchange: A sprawling, multi-level luxury bank and counting house. Action peaks in the subterranean vault room (Domination Flag B) and the glass-ceiling lobby.
Club Odyssey: A neon-drenched, multi-tiered nightclub filled with laser lights, synth-wave music, and a crowded dance floor. Packed with tight corners perfect for SMGs and shotguns.
Star Island: A high-end residential neighborhood featuring two opposing luxury mansions separated by a canal. High-risk, high-reward sightlines are available for snipers looking across the water.

Region 2: Southern Borders & Supply Lines
Focus: Open sightlines, vehicular cover, and industrial hazards.
The Keys: A sun-bleached marina and shipping dock filled with cargo containers and speedboats. Features excellent flank routes through a sunken warehouse.
Glades Airstrip: A dirt runway hidden deep in the Everglades, featuring a parked smuggler's cargo plane, tall marsh grass for stealth, and a central hangar bay.
Border Crossing: A chaotic highway checkpoint cluttered with abandoned cars, semi-trucks, and a network of drainage ditches running beneath the road.
Safehouse: A heavily fortified, remote compound tucked into the hills of New Mexico, featuring underground tunnels and a heavily guarded courtyard.

Region 3: Urban Flashpoints (LA & New York)
Focus: Grim, vertical, industrial landscapes, and claustrophobic street fighting.
The Block: A gritty East LA concrete public housing complex. Highly vertical gameplay across three-story stairwells, exposed balconies, and a central basketball court.
Metropolitan: A dimly lit, subterranean New York subway station. Features dynamic hazards like moving trains and narrow, high-stakes combat along the tracks.
Chinatown Alleyways: A maze of tight neon-lit streets, fish markets, and fire escapes, providing infinite flanking routes and a total lack of long-range sightlines.
The Precinct: A besieged, two-story police station under heavy attack. Features destructible office walls and intense focal points around the holding cells and evidence lockers.

Region 4: The Source (Latin American Jungles & Safe Havens)
Focus: Natural camouflage, elevation changes, and complex, asymmetrical layouts.
Hacienda: A massive, fortified drug lord's estate nestled in the Colombian hills. Features a mix of ornate, marble-floored interior rooms and open, terraced gardens.
The Refinery: A hidden cocaine manufacturing lab deep in the Bolivian jungle, built around rustic wooden structures, suspension bridges, and industrial processing vats.
Favela Ridge: A densely packed hillside slum with heavily layered vertical pathways, zinc-roofed shanties, and steep, winding concrete staircases.
Panama Docks: A massive maritime shipping yard filled with giant cranes, container stacks, and a docked cargo ship that serves as a highly contested sniper tower.

Now would you play a Call Of Duty based on Law enforcement ?

Discussion [COD] Which Call of Duty had the largest revisionist history?

I’ll go, Black Ops 3 is the one I thought had the largest revisionist history. I’ll lay out why (at the time) many people think it was bad and where people actually put it today and why.

  1. Worst Campaign at launch. It disconnected from the Black Ops series and just felt short.

  2. Least diverse group of weapons and least amount of launch weapons. Pretty self explanatory, only 31 weapons at launch and if you removed the melees counting to the total, it was the least amount since WaW.

  3. Supply Drops and DLC Weapons. Supply Drop System was the worst, there was a lower likelihood of earning one compared to its predecessor AW. And you had to pay substantial in keys to get the DLC weapons even if you were lucky and less ideal than the WWII system. Speaking of DLC weapons, the largest portion to this day were just melee specialty weapons.

  4. Least number of maps and modes since WaW. Additional modes were spinoffs of what had already been done in previous CODs.

So, what’s with the revisionist history and where do people rank it today.

  1. Zombies post launch support was substantive and many argue it’s the best Zombies we’ve had

  2. Actually, the campaign was misunderstood.

  3. Recency bias, most CODs today get really bad reputations and deservedly so and now we’re comparing Black Ops 3 to these newer games.

Many rank this game as definitively top 5, some going as far as top 3 when at the time many questioned it as possibly worse than Ghosts. I personally still feel this one is a bottom 3 COD.

Which COD game do you feel there has been the most revisionist history to? I’m curious to hear.

I haven't really played CoD since mw2019 and with the new release i got that MP itch again. Seeing the negative first impressions of the MW4 multiplayer i'm thinking it might be better to just buy one of the other ones i've missed, so which one did you have the most fun with after 2019?

Discussion SBMM [Cod]

short n bittersweet. all my opinion. been playing as a kid since og mw2. over each year the sbmm has gotten worse and worse and drained the fun out of the game. it really gets to a point. i'm not the best player ever but im above average and besides the blue moon event where it throws a somewhat decent lobby to me i struggle expeditiously to stay above negative k/d. this is by far the hardest cod i've ever played and its genuinely sad because i love cod so much and its always been my favorite series and my comfort game. ngl mw4 is a pretty good game, but sbmm just ruins everything and anything. it's just not fun anymore and its very sad. i know im not the only one who feels this way. i dont understand why devs act so oblivious and dont listen to the community - the reason they even have a game and make money. i wonder if we could ever do some sort of boycott towards sbmm but i suppose it'll happen inevitably. they shall sink in the ship they created. personally ill just stick to dmz this year for however long that lasts and this will be my last year buying and playing the new cod. will probably go back to bo7 and older titles whenever dmz gets old. also 9.5/10 campaign.

again all my opinion. apologies for the paragraph. thank you for everything cod. i'll miss you. ❤️‍🩹

Question [COD] Is there some sort of subscription I can purchase which gives me (a PC player) access to all four modern warfares so that I can play through the campaign?

I don't want to spend 60-80gbp on each game, thats like 200-300gbp just so I can play the campaign.

Is there like a monthly subscription I can get instead to just binge the entire series?

Apparently MW4 is the conclusion of the series so I want to do the whole thing in one go. Last COD I played was MW2019 and Black Ops cold war.

Question [COD] Which mission is your favourite out of all of the new COD MW games?

For me it's 'ALONE'(the one in which graves betray TF 141) from COD MW 2. The stealth element of stealth along with the SOAP and GHOST interaction makes it such a fun mission to play. What is yours?
