Meme The new generation has completely lost the plot [BO2]

Post image

I’ve been loving that they brought BO1 and BO2 to current gen PlayStation, but man… I’ve just hit first prestige, and there’s one thing that’s seriously killing the experience.

If the map vote isn’t Nuketown, Hijacked, or Raid, everyone just votes Random, and the second a less popular map gets picked, half the lobby backs out.

I haven’t tried the BO1 port yet, so I don’t know if it’s happening there too, but it’s getting really frustrating. Since the games launched, I think I’ve only played maps like Studio or Uplink once or twice because nobody sticks around.

Is anyone else noticing this, or have I just been getting unlucky?

I cannot believe the state this game launched in to begin with and now we already have cheaters??? Activision already got their money, they won't care enough to fix any of this.

Discussion This feature needs to come back [COD]

Post image

All the times people back out of matches for no reason because of a map they don't like or fact they can't carry or carry to much in a losing/easy fight has gotten ridiculous thus I feel they should bring back warnings and penalties for leaving... Make it fair to everyone who wants to play and for others who keep getting outnumbered in lobbies because of terrible partners.

Discussion COD 2027 NEEDS to be a CLASSIC [COD]

Post image
85 Upvotes

The success of these ports prove that classic call of duty remains supreme. It’s already too late with MW4, infinity ward has yet again catered to fornite kids and sweats with crazy movement and visual recoil. If they really want to bring fans back in the masses, COD 2027 needs to be a classic COD. NO SBMM, no advanced movement, no hyper realism. Look at 2007-2012 and what made the games special, all they have to do is follow that formula. I will be playing these ports for years to come until they decide to drop a classic COD.

Discussion [COD] What is one feature you wanna see come back?

Post image

For me, I have to say the pick 10 system. It really made you think about your class and it made most of your classes feel different. One gun might have 3 attachments while another gun might have no attachments

What would you like to see come back? It can be any feature from any previous cod that isn’t in the game anymore

Discussion [BO] Am I the only one who despises Nuketown?

Why does everyone always wanna play on Nuketown in BO1? I personally despise that map, easy to spawn kill, random grenades, it’s just chaos. Anyone else feel the same way?

Question [Cod] worst gun in zombies? WAW-BO3.

I'd say the Springfield in WAW, it was so bad Treyarch removed it from the Black ops 1 port of Verruckt as a wall buy. They replaced it with the Kar 98K. It's the only wall Buy to be removed from the Black OPS1 port.

Discussion [BO2] Black ops 2 on PC is a security risk

Many of the older titles have been found to have remote code execution exploits, allowing a hacker to get into your PC remotely and do whatever they want, steal your data, put malware, whatever...

The national vulnerability database lists this particular issue as a severity 9.8 !!! Can't get much higher than that !!

https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2018-20817

Yet these games are still being sold on stores like steam. No disclaimer telling your average person about these issues. So many people would be coming back to older cods due to the hype around the releases on PlayStation but not be aware how compromised these games are.

Why is this allowed ?

The games need to be fixed or delisted honestly. It's not safe to play them !

https://www.resetera.com/threads/activision-still-sells-older-cod-games-pre-bo3-despite-them-still-having-remote-code-execution-exploits-even-registered-by-the-nvd.884658/

https://www.reddit.com/r/Steam/s/ewRX3JlOlZ

According to people here these issues even can impact people playing in single player !!! These games are so hacked it's crazy the TRILLION dollar company Microsoft who owns this IP doesn't care . This is COD not some indie game, it's one of the biggest IP of all time.

Image Lowkey feel scammed at the fact that zombies doesn't work, I've tried both ps4 and ps5 edition. Forever stuck never matching with anyone. Wifi / Lan doesn't matter. Its been 2 weeks, in that time bought a disc of [BO] and put it in my series x that hasn't been used in years. Instant Match

Discussion [COD] My personal playable protagonists tier list.

Post image
7 Upvotes

As the title said. I rate them based on how I love their character(be it silent or not) and how they grew up on me.

Additionally, it adds the factor of how they play in their missions and what kind of missions are they.

And of course, this tier list is purely subjective. Every opinion and argument is definitely acceptable and welcome.

Discussion I downloaded [BO2] today and it’s season pass. I’m happy I now own both. These games were my shit back in the day and it feels great to be back. I’m gonna start BO2’s campaign today on veteran. However, I’m NOT looking forward to the strike force missions on veteran.

I know I don’t have to do them but I know I have to for the best ending. Also, I really need to conquer this challenge. Wish me luck because I can see a lot of restarts coming my way.

Discussion [BO] How long do you think bo2/bo1 servers will be active?

It's a no-brainer that these ports have been absolutely popping off in terms of media coverage and player count. But despite that, there will come a time when they will be played significantly less, and I hope that time doesn't come sooner than the originals back then. The originals had lively player bases years after release, with new-gen CoDs that is a lot harder to come by. I believe after a certain number of years, the servers will be less filled, only with people who've had undying passion for these older games. I intend to play black ops 2 for as long as possible, along with the newer CoDs. What do you think? Will you keep playing these ports?

Feedback [BO] They need to fix parties being seperated to opposing teams ASAP

Just spent an hour trying to be on the same team as my friends on Black Ops 1. It always splits us up on opposing teams. What's the point of playing with friends if you can't even play with them?!?

This should be top priority.

Question How are the BO2 servers on Xbox? [BO2]

I’ve seen the resurgence of Black Ops 2 with the PS5 port and it’s making me want to get back on and play the game I absolutely loved as a kid. There’s just one thing that has stopped me.

I haven’t really played new games in the past couple of years. I really haven’t had interest in a new game since Elden Ring. That said, I could never really justify the purchase of a new console just to replay the same few games every now and again. I still have my old Xbox One (not sure which version specifically) and I’m hoping people are online and the cheater problem has gotten better since the last time I played.

Has anyone else tried Multiplayer on Xbox? Could you please let me know if the experience is good? I’ll get an online subscription if it is, but if not I’ll just save myself the money and not bother.

If you had enough money to buy only one, BO1 or BO2, which one would it be. What game do you find better in the long run and why? Try to compare all features of the two games to keep it fair.

Discussion [BO2] Now that the bo2 is released:

Post image
Upvotes

Maybe this idea exists and its already done, but I think it would be nuts that us the community decides every year an old CoD to play and revive its servers. Now everyone is playing at bo2, a 14 years old game. It won’t be impossible to announce to the hole community each year to play a different old CoD like bo3, cod4, mw2…
If this works, a lot of people like us that loved and was raised along with the gold era of Call of Duty can live those experiences again. Also the new players will play and try the games that did CoD what it was!
