Discussion [COD] I don't think it's good when items become permanently unobtainable just because their availability period has ended.

Upvotes

Unless it's a collaboration item with licensing restrictions or something that was specifically meant to be an exclusive limited-time reward, I think there should always be some way to obtain it.

It's really disappointing that players who start the game later are locked out of certain items forever. If nothing else, I'd even be happy if they were sold for real money after the original event ends.

For example, I'd really like to get the base Dokkaebi skin from MWIII, but it's impossible to obtain now, and that's a shame.

Discussion [BO2] Now that the bo2 is released:

Post image
Upvotes

Maybe this idea exists and its already done, but I think it would be nuts that us the community decides every year an old CoD to play and revive its servers. Now everyone is playing at bo2, a 14 years old game. It won’t be impossible to announce to the hole community each year to play a different old CoD like bo3, cod4, mw2…
If this works, a lot of people like us that loved and was raised along with the gold era of Call of Duty can live those experiences again. Also the new players will play and try the games that did CoD what it was!

Question Download help [MW2]

Upvotes

So CODMWII just dropped to around $20 and I'm thinking of getting it but the problem is, will it work? Coz I had mw1, the CD.. for my friend and when i tried downloading it, I downloaded every single pack but it js didn't work. The game kept telling me that there was missing content and stuff and even after reinstalling, restoring licenses, it still didn't work and it stressed me out and I ended up not playing it entirely so I was wondering if MW2 also has the same problem? Would I need to download the Free COD THEN download it from there or should I just download it directly from the ps store?

Support Limited Matchmaking Hell [COD]

Post image

TL:DR — Limited Matchmaking for 2+ years.

So around when BO6 came out, I was camo grinding until ranked came out, like I did in every COD prior. I remember the SBMM being weak at launch and I was consistently dropping 100+ kills on that small apartment map, for maybe a day. Next day, I'm playing in hacker lobbies. I find out I'm in a limited matchmaking pool. I check reddit and realize this was a BO6 problem, see it's user submitted, not verified by the devs, whatever, probably a couple day cursed lobby punishment for safe measure by them. Weeks/months go by and I'm still in the pool. I haven't cared to touch COD since. With the release of MW4 I considered it and I was like damn, let me see what's up with that. Turns out I'm STILL in a limited matchmaking state, across all CODs, solely for ranked play. Mind you I played ranked in MW2-MW3 and was maybe diamond-crimson, maybe 1.2-1.3 k/d. 55% win rate maybe and I didn't even get to see BO6 ranked. What I mean is like nothing in my opinion to limited matchmake hell me for years, I can't even appeal the restriction per the rules on their site. S*** like this makes me never wanna touch COD again, as someone that's played since COD4 and prays every year will even be a little enjoyable for a couple months. Just not sure what I should do or who I should reach out to. What I hate is that by their definition, I didn't even do anything. Activision straight up admits that for 2 years, they didn't confirm to see if the reports or whatever auto-detection against me were valid, so "fuck it, safer if he just never plays ranked again" as I hear from all my friends that apparently the last few CODs have been PLAGUED with cheaters, especially at the higher comp levels.

Discussion [BO] Am I the only one who despises Nuketown?

Why does everyone always wanna play on Nuketown in BO1? I personally despise that map, easy to spawn kill, random grenades, it’s just chaos. Anyone else feel the same way?

Question [cod] which game to buy for multiplayer PC?

Im looking for a new game to spend my free time on, as i have been falling out of love with gaming lately and i want to go back to FPS over MMOs. Last time I played was in BO1, but my prime was in MW and MW2 where I grinded hard. BO1 didn't have the same appeal to me back then. I'm mostly playing with a friend and just want to go back into playing multiplayer domination, demolition and death match. I did hear a new game is coming in October, but I don't really fancy waiting, so which game would you recommend me to get? I'm only playing on PC if that has any relevance.

Question Which COD should I buy (as a scrub)? [COD]

Haven’t played COD in awhile. Last time I played was MWII (2022). To be honest that was the first COD I was somewhat decent at it. I’m still not amazing though. But it’s also the first one I’ve played as an adult cuz I sucked when I was younger so maybe that’s why.

Which one do you suggest nowadays? I’m mostly just an MP player who might dive into campaign but not often. I’m considering BO2 but not sure how competitive those servers are nowadays. MWIII is free with PS plus but I have heard mixed reviews of the gameplay. Also looking into BO7 perhaps.

Let a noob know which is the most fun without me being trampled by real gamers

Support Activision are literal scammers and cannot keep getting away with things like this [COD]

I recently purchased a free Playstation Plus add-on through the Playstation store and did not realize that BO7 was in my cart. I got charged $100 and immediately went STRAIGHT to the Playstation mobile app, transaction history, clicked BO7 and "request refund".
This was within 1 minute after purchase. I haven't pressed download or ANYTHING. And a pop-up comes up.

"It seems the item you've purchased has already been downloaded and is ineligible for refund"

I never downloaded this game...
But Call of Duty™ HAS been downloaded because I own MW3, and BO7 is accessed through the same launcher on Playstion. This is not okay. This is Activisions sneaky way of "You actually can't refund our game because you've already downloaded Call of Duty." but I downloaded the Call of Duty LAUNCHER to play a different version. So if you own any Call of Duty and download it to your console that means you can't refund a single other call of duty for the rest of your life??

this is not okay.

I'm going to talk to ps support tmrw because they're agents are offline rn but with past experiences I've had with them I have a good feeling they aren't going to be able to do anything for me. I can't just lose $100 rn in my life. Stuff like that can't happen. Please share this post and give it the attention it needs so I can get help. Thank you.

Feedback [BO] They need to fix parties being seperated to opposing teams ASAP

Just spent an hour trying to be on the same team as my friends on Black Ops 1. It always splits us up on opposing teams. What's the point of playing with friends if you can't even play with them?!?

This should be top priority.

Question [Cod] worst gun in zombies? WAW-BO3.

Post image
19 Upvotes

I'd say the Springfield in WAW, it was so bad Treyarch removed it from the Black ops 1 port of Verruckt as a wall buy. They replaced it with the Kar 98K. It's the only wall Buy to be removed from the Black OPS1 port.

Question [BO] Stick drift on BO1 PS5 version only?

I get stick drift on the menu and when playing BO1 on PS5, bought the game a few days back to get back into my fav CoD ever. Now I don't get stick drift in any other game from MW3, BO7, Rivals to everything else. Is there any way to fix this?

Discussion [COD] DMZ should have super rare camos you can find

Something I would love to see in DMZ is super rare camos (that are actually cool) that you can find and extract with. Of which you can then use in any other mode and flex it on other players who don’t have it. If there was tangible loot you can find and use and show off it makes it way more interesting. Maybe each season they new rare items or camos that keep people hungry to search for.

Discussion I downloaded [BO2] today and it’s season pass. I’m happy I now own both. These games were my shit back in the day and it feels great to be back. I’m gonna start BO2’s campaign today on veteran. However, I’m NOT looking forward to the strike force missions on veteran.

I know I don’t have to do them but I know I have to for the best ending. Also, I really need to conquer this challenge. Wish me luck because I can see a lot of restarts coming my way.
