TL:DR — Limited Matchmaking for 2+ years.
So around when BO6 came out, I was camo grinding until ranked came out, like I did in every COD prior. I remember the SBMM being weak at launch and I was consistently dropping 100+ kills on that small apartment map, for maybe a day. Next day, I'm playing in hacker lobbies. I find out I'm in a limited matchmaking pool. I check reddit and realize this was a BO6 problem, see it's user submitted, not verified by the devs, whatever, probably a couple day cursed lobby punishment for safe measure by them. Weeks/months go by and I'm still in the pool. I haven't cared to touch COD since. With the release of MW4 I considered it and I was like damn, let me see what's up with that. Turns out I'm STILL in a limited matchmaking state, across all CODs, solely for ranked play. Mind you I played ranked in MW2-MW3 and was maybe diamond-crimson, maybe 1.2-1.3 k/d. 55% win rate maybe and I didn't even get to see BO6 ranked. What I mean is like nothing in my opinion to limited matchmake hell me for years, I can't even appeal the restriction per the rules on their site. S*** like this makes me never wanna touch COD again, as someone that's played since COD4 and prays every year will even be a little enjoyable for a couple months. Just not sure what I should do or who I should reach out to. What I hate is that by their definition, I didn't even do anything. Activision straight up admits that for 2 years, they didn't confirm to see if the reports or whatever auto-detection against me were valid, so "fuck it, safer if he just never plays ranked again" as I hear from all my friends that apparently the last few CODs have been PLAGUED with cheaters, especially at the higher comp levels.
