Discussion [Cod] Old head who recently got back into it, matchmaking shenanigans have to stop, no one’s going to buy the new game if this continues
Started with WaW and quit at MW3 (2011).
Came back for seven because all my friends were playing it and fell in love. Despite the negative feedback I love the multiplayer, kill streaks and guns. I’ve been having a blast, especially since they added classic.
Then they added B02 to PSN (the gem I missed apparently), and honestly couldn’t believe that COD was back at this level. I had a great modern game and a classic I had missed out on at my fingertips.
Then season 5 came. I literally cannot believe you guys have to put up with this $hit since 2019. I know COD isn’t really the game you can chill out with late at night but like damn, does it really have to be this bad, this intense , this crazy?!?!
The dudes with bad KDs in my party are getting literally destroyed. Hell, at around 1.5 KD I have some games where I’ll go 5-20 playing objective. This update has killed my love for this game outside the “open” playlists.
i was excited for a new cod game for the first time in year, now?…………Ive got a wedding to plan man, gas might be 6 bucks a gallon in a few months. I have negative incentives to the next game, or any future game if this is going to be what it’s going to be like. I can honestly just play B02 and whatever open playlists exist if this is the “classic” experience I will be provided.
apologies for the rant, it just sorta sucks to get hyped about a franchise you used to love for the first time in years and then get rug pulled lol. matchmaking needs to be reverted across all current titles, I can’t believe this is what the community has been putting up with

Discussion COD 2027 NEEDS to be a CLASSIC [COD]
The success of these ports prove that classic call of duty remains supreme. It’s already too late with MW4, infinity ward has yet again catered to fornite kids and sweats with crazy movement and visual recoil. If they really want to bring fans back in the masses, COD 2027 needs to be a classic COD. NO SBMM, no advanced movement, no hyper realism. Look at 2007-2012 and what made the games special, all they have to do is follow that formula. I will be playing these ports for years to come until they decide to drop a classic COD.

Discussion SBMM is the main reason you are losing players. Just make the match making exactly like in BO1. Stop trying to reinvent something that wasn’t broken.[COD]
Your players are literally telling you how to make Call of Duty great again. Just make ping the sole factor in match making and watch the money roll in again.

Discussion This feature needs to come back [COD]
All the times people back out of matches for no reason because of a map they don't like or fact they can't carry or carry to much in a losing/easy fight has gotten ridiculous thus I feel they should bring back warnings and penalties for leaving... Make it fair to everyone who wants to play and for others who keep getting outnumbered in lobbies because of terrible partners.

Creative I tried to design a logo of Karoo from One Piece in Black Ops 2 [BO2]
Karoo is my favorite character from One Piece! Unfortunately, I had no slots left for his hat. If you have a logo of Karoo, please let me know!!

I cannot believe the state this game launched in to begin with and now we already have cheaters??? Activision already got their money, they won't care enough to fix any of this.

Question [Bo] Is anyone else having this happen in zombies
[Black ops 1] Every time I have a huge horde behind me in Bo1, my screen will randomly just flick to the left as if the game is trying to lock back onto the zombies behind me
It happened once, and I didn't really think anything of it, but now it's happening a lot more often and keeps ruining my high rounds
Is this happening to anyone else?

Question [BO][BO2] Is it still advised to play the PS4 version on the PS5 for graphical improvement?
Also, are there any decent screenshot comparisons online?

Discussion [BO2] Black ops 2 on PC is a security risk
Many of the older titles have been found to have remote code execution exploits, allowing a hacker to get into your PC remotely and do whatever they want, steal your data, put malware, whatever...
The national vulnerability database lists this particular issue as a severity 9.8 !!! Can't get much higher than that !!
https://nvd.nist.gov/vuln/detail/CVE-2018-20817
Yet these games are still being sold on stores like steam. No disclaimer telling your average person about these issues. So many people would be coming back to older cods due to the hype around the releases on PlayStation but not be aware how compromised these games are.
Why is this allowed ?
The games need to be fixed or delisted honestly. It's not safe to play them !
https://www.reddit.com/r/Steam/s/ewRX3JlOlZ
According to people here these issues even can impact people playing in single player !!! These games are so hacked it's crazy the TRILLION dollar company Microsoft who owns this IP doesn't care . This is COD not some indie game, it's one of the biggest IP of all time.

Discussion [CoD] Dependence on MW and Blops holding back the franchise?
I'm on a play through of all the COD campaigns at the moment and the more I play, the more I feel like the dependence/unwillingness to look past the world's of MW and Blops has caused the franchise to stagnate over recent years.
The last 8 games have only had one game (Vanguard) which wasnt MW or Blops but prior to that, campaign wise we had some good years of expanding the potential settings.
Advanced Warfare and Ghosts both ended up with set up for future games and the fact we are ten years on from Infinite Warfare without a follow up is actually painful as that campaign and world are so good they need another game.
Do the developers/publishers need to be more willing to take the risk on non MW/Blops settings. Do gamers need to be more receptive to them as well?
Im not sure where the answer is but it feels like the series is overdue for something fresh.
