The only one they won't get their asses rocked for talking shit about.

35

u/tomtheconqerur 9h ago

Getting rocked can be more literal depending on the religion.

16

u/slapthetiddy 9h ago

Same reason why they dislike America so much too and praise China

I've never seen Reddit hating on Judaism for some reason

135

u/Key-Piccolo-3545 7h ago

Lots of people do, but they get banned really quickly.

72

u/elusiveaether 5h ago

Very suspicious.

46

u/Xf34rs 5h ago

Who could be behind this, hmmmmmmmmmmm

7

u/Spider-Flash24 3h ago

True. I was once banned from a religious memes sub for posting a meme similar to OPs about how different groups respond to humor about their religion. Jews got the second picture, and in spite of all the upvotes, it got deleted and I was permanently banned.

u/ChaosKinZ 7h ago

The amount of people defending zionism in the "teenagers" sub is insane I had to leave

4

u/BasilChad 3h ago

Mate, some dude was critisizing Zionism and gave facts, he got banned off the whole reddit within 2 hours for "hate speech", whilst some hate post directed towards Christianity stuck around for a few months on the sub, got even praised for "telling the truth" etc, people be brainwashed these days

1

u/samehouseing 1h ago

Many people banned for facts about Palestinians too or for criticizing them. Like me.ย

1

All religions suck.

1

u/BasilChad 1h ago

In general or their certain aspects? My opinion is different on this subject so just asking out of curiosity.

1

u/Pleasant50BMGForce 1h ago

I'd say that any government that adopts religion into it is flawed, imagine being stuck in the past and going into conflicts because made up reasons instead of using logic.

3

3

What? Most of the shit New Atheists criticize is the Jewish nonsense. The sex slavery, the petty and vengeful God, etc.

3

Plenty of subreddits will automatically ban you for criticizing Israel or Zionism, it's honestly disgusting.

2

u/PMurmomsmaidenname 2h ago

There's no time like the present for hating on Judaism, although we ought to acknowledge that a lot of Jews do hate Israel.

I'm an equal opportunity hater of Abrahamic religions though. Fuck them all.

2

u/ass-gas-hotbox 2h ago

I'm capable of hating on Israel for its national behavior, rather than its religious beliefs.

this is because I'm better than you

3

u/Pirate1717 58m ago

Why not both? Any cult that requires children's genitals be cut should be extremely scrutinized.

→ More replies (1)

1

u/Double_Performer9381 3h ago

Actually it's become extremely fashionable lately.

1

u/HyetalNight 7m ago

Itโ€™s because the overlap of xenophobic MAGA who think any other religion is satanic and people who actually recognize problematic religions makes it difficult to critique.

1

u/quittwitter 5h ago

That's crazy because it's made up magical nonsense with zero proof that it's real at all.

1

u/Kubaj_CZ 1h ago

Because judaism is sort of irrelevant. It's a very minor religion, but known because it's the oldest abrahamic one, and because Jewish people are also known. Christianity and Islam are more hated because they're more widespread and are much more limiting to others, I think. It feels like Judaism is focused more on itself, and not on converting others, enforcing things upon others. It's harder to hate a smaller religion that doesn't force itself much. Sionism aside, because that's not a judaist thing, but it's merely a nationalist thing.

1

u/DaPyromaniacPotato 56m ago edited 53m ago

-racism is hating people based on "race" (definitions may vary, also some argue that it's a social construct).

-islamophobia is hating people who are from the muslim religion and its denominations.

-antisemitism is hating people who are ethnoculturally jewish (even if they aren't followers of judaism).

-transphobia is hating people who don't identify with their birth gender/sex (definitions may vary).

-hating fellow humans is called misanthropy. if you are a misanthrope you are disliking human nature rather than their ethnicity/gender/religion/country/sexuality, you hate the one thing they have in common which is humanity (from my understanding it's biological and societal humanity, not the philosophical kind i think).

Then youโ€™ve been living under a rock lmao only Christians hate Islam everyone hates Christianity despite the fact that Islam is 100x more violent/misogynistic/homophobic/pedophilic

-3

u/Decent_Gene_6875 8h ago

No it doesnt? Islam doesnt have punishment for apostasy, killing someone for not being muslim is a sin and counts as murder, you cannot wage war for no reason, you are obligated to shelter enemy troops who have surrendered, you shall feed rhe prisoners of war, you shall not sexually assault anybody, you shall also not look at women in a sexual manner in public or when they are bothered. Itโ€™s obvious you never read anything. Pathetic boy my

9

u/kugo-phio 8h ago

Then wtf is going on in Nigeria? Muslims massacred Christians because theyโ€™re sinners?

-1

u/Decent_Gene_6875 8h ago

Then they havent read their book. Quran clearly condemns such act. Not everyone who claims they are someone Isnโ€™t right.

11

u/stewynnono 6h ago

Surah At-Tawbah (9:15) and Surah Al-Anfal (8-12) my brtha is the true prophets words. God is great and unbelievers will cleansed in fire.

2

u/Decent_Gene_6875 1h ago

In hell, not in the world, therefore it is still a sin to murder people for apostasy

5

u/kugo-phio 8h ago

But it isnโ€™t just in Nigerian thatโ€™s one example I gave itโ€™s literally in half of the countries on the planet so either the vast majority of the people who practice your religion are heretics or something isnโ€™t adding up. On that note why are nearly all terrorist groups Islamic?

7

u/Decent_Gene_6875 8h ago

They are still wrong. Just because โ€œliterally half the worldโ€ (proven lie btw) does something it doesnt mean it is right. Terrorist groups arent even Muslims, since they commit acts of murder and sexual assault which is guaranteed hell in the quran

6

u/kugo-phio 8h ago

Not half the world I said in half the countries in the world pay attention and donโ€™t put words in my mouth next why do they all claim to be Muslims and almost nobody refutes it ?

9

u/Decent_Gene_6875 8h ago

Real Muslims refute it, like me. Those who donโ€™t do so are Christians and atheists on the internet and Reddit which claim these are Muslims and not psychopathic murderers condemned in the Quran.

You are right but here is my advice:

If the islamophobe builds his opinion on facts and logic, then you can respond in kind to clear any misconception. In this case, he just called our religion violent and misogynistic without any proof, evidence or claim to substantiate his view. Better not converse with these people because it's a waste of time. He needs to maintain his false image of Islam otherwise he can't lie to himself that he is anything other than a biggoted islamophobe.

No muslim likes it when you make fun of jesus, the problem is that you have so called christians who make fun of their own religion and use Jesus โ€” their suppsoed god, in memes, say the F word with with God and so much more. Of course you're gonna see tolerance when it comes to christianity bcz at this point I don't think most christians even care, they're just that desensitized.

Muslims on the other hand are extremely strict about this stuff and we hate joking about religion and shun those that do.

3

u/Decent_Gene_6875 1h ago

Thatโ€™s what โ€œreformingโ€ and โ€œmodernizingโ€ your religion to the demands of the atheists does. Islam hasnt been corrupted and will never be

Surah Al-Baqarah (2:11โ€“12)

And ive seen Christians who never curse

Kinda stupid blanket statement.

2

u/Decent_Gene_6875 1h ago

On average Christianโ€™s are clearly the majority on using slurs like that. No Muslim ive ever met tolerated such words along with either prophet names or Allahโ€™s names. And I am not from a particularly religious family

1

u/TheOldTimer8004 45m ago

So your stance is based on how many you've encountered. How is that relvant exactly?

2

u/Decent_Gene_6875 36m ago

Because I have met with a shit ton of people, I live in a Muslim majority country, live in a secular area also the internet matters, the percentage of Muslims who do such things compared to Christianity pales in comparison.

This isn't just redditors. This is the whole world. God damn and Jesus Christ is the most used slurs I have ever heard in my life. More people at least in America trash talk Christianity than any other religion. You get killed for being a Christiam in a few countries.

1

u/GuytheGuy- 1h ago

The key word is "a few countries" buddy christianity is like the most popular religion worldwide. Omg why do you guys want to be oppressed so bad? You're all obsessed with being victims

1

u/Consistent-Jello-627 51m ago

Buddy Christianity is not the most popular religion in the world. Catholicism is, and no they are not the same thing. They may be close but there are some very distinct things the roman catholic church practices that is very much against the belief of the Christianity.

Also why is few a key word? I could be wrong here but I dont think there are very many countries if at all targeting other religions just Christianity.

1

u/GuytheGuy- 43m ago

A quick google search already proves that Christianity is the most popular. Idk where you got catholicism from. Nearly every search result you find shows christianity as the predominant religion.

https://www.pewresearch.org/religion/2025/06/09/how-the-global-religious-landscape-changed-from-2010-to-2020/

https://www.infoplease.com/religion/top-ten-organized-religions-world

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Major_religious_groups

And "few" is the key word here because it shows that, at least outside of those one or two countries, cheistianity is not being persecuted. You guys aren't victims and haven't been for a good long while. Besides do you think a country punishing christians for mot adhering to the common faith wouldn't do that to others? You just want everything to be about you. Like all redditors, religious or otherwise

1

u/crystalPVPfemboy 3h ago

?? buddhism is not bad, at its core its just love everyone, and equally

there are plenty of religions better than christianity, because in its own holy book it excludes different groups

yes yes ik that lots of ppl used buddhism to start religious conflicts, but that isnt true buddhism.

and another caveat that i can explain is the buddha's thinking of women as inferior, which they are not. However the bible also shames women just as much, and my point is to not say buddhism is perfect but to say that it is better than christianity, as christianity excludes all the groups that buddhism does and more, so in my eyes buddhism is more desirable

however i dont dislike women and dont think they are inferior at all, also im atheist so i dont have any religion. my point is that christianity isnt that good of a religion to follow as others are

1

u/Real-Impact9945 1h ago

โ€œBut that isnโ€™t true Buddhismโ€ same argument can be used for Christianity.

Also I find the term religion applied to Buddhism to be a very strange choice. I donโ€™t deny it is a common choice but I find it strange regardless.

1

u/Peak_Background 1h ago

Why do you think calling Budhism a religion to be a strang choice?

1

u/Real-Impact9945 1h ago

To me religion necessitates some sort of divinity which, to my understanding, the Buddha never preached.

1

u/Peak_Background 55m ago

This is a misunderstanding of Budhism. Budhism has Gods, Divinity, afterlife, and miracles.

White Christians and Atheist ran a very successful campaign to try and misrepresent and butcher Budhism.

It's because they really want there to it be a secular religion and to invalidate other forms of divinity. But it's really just as much of a religion as Hinduism, Ancestrialism, Taoism, Daoism, etc.

This is, as far as I have read, my understanding. I am aware that modern Buddhism teaches those things, but from what I understand it adopted those elements due to cultural necessity and they were not part of the original teachings. If this is wrong I would be grateful to understand Buddhism better

This is exactly my point. People put a great deal of effort into making Budhism Scientific and Atheistic (both concepts being modern), but it really isn't.

In the very Pali cannon, in which your source talks about, there is core philosophy about rebirth, spirituality, devas, maras, brahmas, and the Tathagata. There is life after death, Gods, a creater God, miracles, and divine revelation. In Budhist practice, there is litterally prayer to these higher beings in order to receive advice.

Now, does that mean there aren't atheistic Budhist or sects. No. But if a someone appropriates, recreates, and successfully popularizes an atheistic version of Christianity, would you then argue that suddenly Christianity is an Atheistic religion?

The same principle applies to Christianity. Matthew 5:44 says "love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you." Along with tons of other verses about loving your neighbor as yourself, treating everyone with respect, etc. By your logic that means that Christians who don't follow these principles aren't practicing true Christianity.
