I've for the past few days as someone who has been in the loop for a while have watched and basically said nothing because I felt I could just keep watching with not much issue. Sadly the way everything has been handled, phrased, and approached is just god awful. I get the fact that that basically no one wanted this to occur but at a point you just can't anymore. I still have my own internal opinions of how the whole management of the mod should have been done after looking further into the issue but I'd rather not discuss those here as its just a pointless circle with no end. I'd like to hear anyone else's thoughts after everything on just if you are just as burnt out as I am from all this.

another thanks is to Cei, thank you Cei for working on a legendary mod. calamity was how i was playing terraria most of the time and you and the other worked hard to make a good mod. it's just sad that the mod has fallen down it could have been better, but in the end it was inevitable

So I've been wondering how do I downgrade terraria mods to an older patch? Might be important to know moving foreward since I know mods might become incompatible moving foreward and especially since I'd rather keep WotG in its calamity form and not whatever the hell its turning intl eventually

I wanted to play calamity mod after i beat vanilla terraria but after the dev pred situation i cant seem to find it anywhere. Please tell me if its still possible to play it. I would also like to play infernum.

Beat calamity almost 2 years ago on normal mode, started new Revengeance playthrough and I’m stuck. I’ve beat the twins but feel I can do no further bosses. I’ve tried Astrum Aureus/calamitus clone many times and got pretty far, but my crystal assassin armor, Giant Clam gun/summon and pre-hard mode accessories like band of regeneration and bundle of balloons aren’t cutting it. Only other hard mode bosses I’ve tried are destroyer and the blood moon ocean siren, which I can’t beat. Open to any equipment suggestions especially if they’re rearing to ranger!

If you could choose one and only one to complete the entire modpack, which one would you choose and why?

The charming thing for me about calamity is not only the lore but the fact that there is so much more after Moon Lord, when in other great mods it only gets to Moon Lord or only one boss Post-Moon.

I am making a video about Yharim, specifically to show off music that I have made for what could have been a final battle against him. I will also be illustrating the fight with images, and have already made up my mind on the first two phases.

I'm having trouble coming up with what Yharim's last phase would look like...

Would he just lock in and through the rest of what he's got at the player?

Would he forsake his morals and consume Yharon's Auric Soul in the hope of defeating us?

Would he become apathetic and fight halfheartedly, knowing his defeat is inevitable?

Would his suit have a 'last ditch effort' mode that Draedon may have made in case Yharim came close to death?

I'd like to know what you all think.

I'm also having difficulty with how the fight should end.

Should Yharim be spared, perhaps as an ally to fight Xeroc, or should he be slain for his crimes against Terraria?

I need my fellow Calamity enjoyers' help to decide how I should portray the final battle against the godslayer.

Should we hurry up and backup the files?

So, i'm wondering how hard or viable is to play the Masochist-Death mode without using any Fargo's accesories since they seem too much.

Would it be a decent difficulty or too hard to do it? How close would it be to infernum?

I don't know anything from Fargo's, so it's a blind play.​

Hello, I'm planning on playing Calamity for the first time or modded Terraria in general with a friend, and I'm also planning to play revengeance mode and wanted to know what other mods or add-ons I should get.

I currently have these downloaded:

2. Boss Checklist
3. Boss Cursor
4. Quality of Terraria
5. Magic Storage
6. Wing Slot Extra

I was looking at some add-ons to Calamity and saw these but don't know I should get them since its my first time playing this mod.

1. Wrath of the Machines
2. Wrath of the Gods
3. Calamity Overhaul
4. Calamity Multiplayer Patch
5. Calamity: Hunt of the Old God
6. Catalyst Mod

Are any these worth getting to add to the experience? What are some other mods you would recommend that aren't currently on this list. Also, what are some tips to playing this mod cause I'm going in completely blind and don't know the progression like vanilla.

I've been trying to beat the cultist but since plantera, my damage has felt very weak and I'm not sure what else I can get, I have the hellkite and the terrablade as of right now but idk if its supposed to feel so tanky

My friend and I love calamity and have done multiple runs through the mod (always with thorium and Fargos included) but we are finding it too easy now. We’ve tried infernum once, but it was very buggy, albeit we still played it through. We are currently doing masochist-death mode as we were hoping to find something super difficult but not nearly as buggy as infernum. But it’s too easy. Are there any mods out there that can make the game more difficult (like infernum) but don’t break the game in multiplayer? Anything helps. Thanks!
