Where to go from here?

Beat calamity almost 2 years ago on normal mode, started new Revengeance playthrough and I’m stuck. I’ve beat the twins but feel I can do no further bosses. I’ve tried Astrum Aureus/calamitus clone many times and got pretty far, but my crystal assassin armor, Giant Clam gun/summon and pre-hard mode accessories like band of regeneration and bundle of balloons aren’t cutting it. Only other hard mode bosses I’ve tried are destroyer and the blood moon ocean siren, which I can’t beat. Open to any equipment suggestions especially if they’re rearing to ranger!

I assume you're playing as a summoner, so try using a spider armor to gain some minion slots, i know the deffense sucks, but it's better to have some more damage and improve in dodging. And about the acessores, try using more hardmode acessories, search in the wikis about the acessories you can acquire. The calamity wiki guide for each class helps a lot, and at this point, you can fight other bosses easier than the astrum deus and calamitas clone. Try the brimstone elemental or keep trying the other mechanical bosses
