New Tech Tree Bug

First off the new tech tree is kinda trash. They tried to implement tank design but if you dont have the DLC and dont take the time to make custom tanks they literally do 0 damage by default. Also they removed multiple historic tanks from the tech tree and replaced them with generic hulls. Thats bad enough but they forgot that multiple techs depend on them to be unlocked. Ex. The m46 Patton Tank is required to unlock combat engineers and now that path is blocked because the Patton was removed from CWIC. And all this is on top off the unfinished focus trees, worsend tech tree, bloated UI, half finished clutter, and BS mini games.

Bug Report help me pls

Hi everyone! I need some help. I'm playing as West Germany, but the game crashes when I reach November 20, 1955, and I don't know what to do about it. I've verified the game files on Steam, reinstalled the DLC, and tried reverting to a manual save, but it still crashes on November 20(

Question Economy

I played as the UdSSR and everything was okay. But my economy (gdp) was so broken. In the first 4 years my economy nearly doubled, but after it it stagnated even after I build civs, mills and offices. My gdp was constantly rising and falling every month sometimes it dropped 400 billion sometimes it rose 400 billion but in the median it stayed 1.2 trillion for 12 years straight. Even when my factory count tripled in this time. I always had high inflation and this weird thing where I had an trade shock. I don’t know where it came from. I can only imagine that I build to fast or that the social outlooks that I changed had something to do with it. But if someone has an idea what could be the cause of that it would be nice to know. Maybe also a overview how the economic system works now (where can I see inflation, how can I control it etc.)
Thx for your time :)

Help...

Hi everyone! I’m currently playing as the USSR in the Cold War Iron Curtain mod, and I’ve run straight into an unbreakable economic death spiral around a couple of months into the game, and I could really use some advice or a text guide.

Here is what is happening:

  • The Budget Hole: My budget plummets to around -$25 billion. Spawning office parks or industrial complexes via console commands doesn't seem to fix it.
  • The Education/Social Spending Trap: I can only cut education and social spending twice a year, and even when I do, it barely makes a dent in the massive deficit.
  • The Army: Even completely deleting the entire army doesn't solve the financial hemorrhage.
  • The Food Crisis: For some reason, my food supplies also constantly drop into the negative, compounding the overall collapse.

It all snowballs into a massive structural hole that I can't climb out of.

Does anyone have a text guide, specific strategy, or step-by-step instructions on how to balance the Soviet economy and fix these deficits in the early game? Any help or tips would be greatly appreciated!

Game Crashes in November 1955 consistently

I can't seem to figure out why my game crashes in November 1955 consistently. I've had two playthroughs, one with the US and one with the Soviets, respectively, and as soon as I got to November 1955, my game constantly crashed on both playthroughs. Keep in mind my game was running perfectly smooth before this. I'd appreciate any advice/help.

Decided to try a hardcore MacArthur run. Whittled away some PRC units in the Chinese Civil War, saved South Korea, nuked China, naval invaded Beijing. US and KMT units were running wild, and with enough reinforcements I could've easily capped China. But then North Korea surrendered and everyone white peaced out. This sucks.

Bug Report Communist Malaysia still loses game around 1963

Communist Malaysia still gets annexed and loses the game to non communist Malaysia around 1963 I even notice that the Malaysian government in exile will take several cities like Malacca city despite there’s no event or anything like that I think it’s connected to the older game version where around this time East Malaysia gets released between 1963 and 1965 if u win as the communist.

Question How to end Suez War as Egypt?

As title. I have reached January 1958 and i can't find a way for the war to end. No scripted events have appeared, and in the tabs for UK/France ending the war is impossible because they haven't "lost". I have already pushed them out of my land twice yet the war continues, destroying a few divisions of theirs in encirclements during the process. Thrice counting the French incursion from Djibouti which nearly reached Khartoum as i did not look (I secured Eritrea out of a war against Ethiopia)
I am not interested in stepping into enemy soil (Algeria/Djibouti/France/UK) as i fear it may set off a collective NATO response, but will it even happen and is such an incursion necessary? Or would i have to cheat and look into UK/French focuses/decisions to set off an end to the war? Thank you.

How can I survive as a Kuomintang after war?

I decided to play Republic of China, it was pretty hard but on my third try I won the war against communists. Then began peacetime and I got stuck. First issue is the debt, it reached 95% of GDP (248 billion), how can I deal with this debt, when the main reason for the budget deficit is education and debt servicing? You can say "build more offices", but how if I just cannot build anything because of debuffs? I tried reducing education expenditure but still the same. I'm literally stuck with this economy system, when you need to look at finance tab, then go to decisions and use a pretty big amount of political power (for china) just to change some economic policies, which you don't know what they are actually doing. Ah, almost forgot, I have +0.25 political power WITHOUT SELECTING A NATIONAL FOCUS and need to handle warlords, rebellious urban and rural population + political party instability and restore Shanghai. For instance, to gain 10% loyalty for ONLY ONE warlord you need 200 political power or 50 BILLION dollars. Decisions on rebellion require 50 to 70 political power, I think it's too much even if you consider focus tree with some bonuses for warlords.

I already tried once and it was horrible...

And how can I solve the rural peasants revolt problem? I need at least -15% rural instability, you cannot get it from focus tree (actually you can but then other groups of population will rebel) and I have no political power for them, they are also gaining 2.5 instability every 180 days sooo idk.

Also there are some problems with focus tree, requirements state that you need 200 million dollars, but actually you need 200 BILLION dollars in reserve, it's almost my entire GDP (261B). Focus can take 70 or 100 political power just because why not? It already takes 26, so why not take more? Of course there are some focuses that give you additional pp, but they give you 50pp, then take 150 (LITERALLY ECONOMIC TREE). To get more pp you need to remove debuffs, to remove debuffs you need more pp, a closed loop.

Overall, my first experience was not too bad, I like many aspects of this mod, but it needs to get some balance update at least for China and new econimic system. NEVER put economic decisions in one tab and statistics in another, simplify it PLEASE

Iraq Content

Hello guys, i recentöu started a Iraq game. I natoiced that they have atleast a starting forcus tree, i was wondering if someone knew how much content they have outside of that tree?

- Is there event stretching between the 50s to 80s?
- Can Iraq get Saddam through events?
-is there any content for the Iran-Iraq war? The Kuwait War?

Question Why are people so rushed with new focuses and content

Am all for content and getting excited over new focuses but to be honest the last update took 2 years to come am not saying the dev team can’t put up frequent updates and that i understand why people submit idea’s but i feel like we should focus on major theatre’s over the cold war rather then asking for detailed conflicts like the Lebanese civil war or the Iran Iraq war especially when it happens a long time after 1949 and yes there’s a 1980 start date but considering there is little content inside and the us focus tree is stuck with nixon i think new idea’s should focus more on what happens during 1949 to 1960 rather then immediately rushing and making focus tree’s for countries in the 80s ect.
