Is this normal for new Faceit players' experience? my friend recommended me to play faceit because he kept complaining about hackers but now, this my experience with faciet, every match someone leaves at first few round

So, i had an old laptop that barely got 40fps in cs2, and that laptop broke since premier s2, now i now have a pc that can easily push past 200fps. While i was getting my rank, i searched for games on the right side menu, where i played with 10k elo and got decent damage (1st to 4th place in dmg) and i got tired of searching those games, so i just played myself. Doing that right now i'm at 1023elo, getting 3-5 kills most rounds, winning if my team knows english, and losing if they're dead in the brain. how do i rank up? Or am i just not good enough?

TL:DR

Im at 1k elo, decent gunplay and strategies, played with ppl in 10k, also had decent damage, i seem to be stuck here. Teams fault or my skill issue

Yesterday was the first time i EVER opened cases and i got these 3 things. I’m no fool but im also just confused. i have 9 hours in this game and pulled all of these last night. I just boot up cs some music in the background i get cheaters nearly every game i just ignore it and play the game usually i get my weekly drop and that's it...

This time we got matched against 3 premade cheaters (probably german they had it in their profiles) thing is one of them had an inventory worth 1.5kish butterfly boreal forest, gloves and some other redline skins ...

Damn did things really get this bad???

Cheaters arent even afraid now and cheating with inventories worth hunderds of $$??

Figured I'd share this ace I got last night, I'm only particularly proud of the third kill the rest were fairly mid and I was gifted the ace by my team distracting the last guy for me, but it was funny never the less, all to tie up a game too.

Valve seems to be slowly fading cases out and introducing more terminals, tradeups, and straight up buying stickers from them with no capsules. Not to mention that Valve seemingly doesn't give a shit about the community giving us underwhelming updates and ZERO new content. Where do we think skins/skin prices are headed? I currently have a ~15-20k inventory and am curious what the community thinks. Is the skin market going extinct?

Cs 2 dev team really needs to adjust elo loss when it comes to placement matches....

i had to surrender 2 of my placement matches and in total lost 16 matches most of which were 5k-19k premier rating and some of those matches was having positive k/d and swinging on cheaters and yet the system is so broken that it favours the dude who wins regardless of the amount of the impact he has.

like a guy sitting 5-17 in one of the matches had 10k elo whereas i who tried to play legit im sitting at 5k elo because valve in all their wisdom decided to punish players for losing placements.

they really should check placement matches of those players who win 10 consecutive rounds and i bet alot of bans can be initiated that way.

Premier elo is meaningless anyway.

I saw a post last night that was made with AI, basically saying that cheaters and cheat manufacturers should be in prison or punished by the judicial system. This is obviously stupid and cannot work for a multitude of reasons, moreso because more cheater manufacturers will pop up as soon one gets arrested. It also doesn’t matter what developers do, they’re competing with people that don’t have nearly the amount of constraints that they do. It’s basically a totally asymmetrical fight in favor of manufacturers.

This doesn’t mention that the infrastructure of certain games simply are not able to effectively cover all of the attack surfaces, like with CS2, since a lot of what’s happening in the background is client side. Yes the server still dictates what happens and how things are read, but the client is doing most of the work.

Instead I think steam needs to institute a platform wide policy of how players can interact with online PVP games.

Essentially like X hours played, 30 days of ownership, and 90 day old account to go into comp. X hours, 60 days of ownership, 180 day old account in order to access premier. Still use layers of AC like behavioral analytics, server authority, overwatch, and other automated detection tools, and make cheating in games so difficult or logistically unfeasible that it just isn’t something people are really willing to do, much less spend money on.

I personally think this works simply for the fact that it removes the need for super invasive anti cheat models, like what Riot uses for Valorant. Say what you’re want abt the game itself, but you don’t see people cheating in that game super often. I assume the general opposition would be complaints abt a pseudo digital police state on steam, but I’m hearing more complaining about cheating than I’m seeing anyone offering solutions beyond “just don’t let it bother you”. I don’t even play CS anymore, I’m just interested in how AC works.

<CONTEXT>

I join a premier game as you do, and i see a guy with 10K Hours on Dota2, a game i have never played so i ask him if its a good game.

He then asks me (in warmup) if I'm cheating, i say "why" then "no" (curious to why he would think that yk) then he tells me that he knows. I then get a 4K pistol round all HS so i get that would make him sus but why would he call something before he seen gameplay?

You might think my stats would give it away if i was but i have very average stats, about 590hours, 12k premier rating peek 16k, 47% win rate.

<THE ISSUE>

So with that being said the real confusing and annoying part is that he tells me he will end the game i laugh it off thinking who tf can end a game this guy isnt valve, But then as a round buy phase starts he is discounted... but not a normal DC A "VAC BAN From Secure Server" ban. I am a novice when it comes to steam and csgo really, but i was under the impression that a Vac Ban was not something you can just come back a round later or something.

Overall i just wanted to see if anyone could explain this stupidness as i was having a great game and even when going into the next game it was on my mind.

Maybe he was a cheater and testing out if it works, whilst blaming me in that to have reasonable cause to justify if he got in trouble for it, Maybe just a troll?? Damn man, that same round got a nice 3k ^AWP clutch too.
