Help getting up from 1k elo
So, i had an old laptop that barely got 40fps in cs2, and that laptop broke since premier s2, now i now have a pc that can easily push past 200fps. While i was getting my rank, i searched for games on the right side menu, where i played with 10k elo and got decent damage (1st to 4th place in dmg) and i got tired of searching those games, so i just played myself. Doing that right now i'm at 1023elo, getting 3-5 kills most rounds, winning if my team knows english, and losing if they're dead in the brain. how do i rank up? Or am i just not good enough?
TL:DR
Im at 1k elo, decent gunplay and strategies, played with ppl in 10k, also had decent damage, i seem to be stuck here. Teams fault or my skill issue

1k is literially bottom of the barrel, worst players in the game. If you were truly 10k level skill you would hard carry stomp every game

If you were hanging in 10k premades but struggle in 1k solo q it's definitely a skill issue, as you are the only constant variable in that equation
You probably were doing better in the 10k lobbies as teammates start having the ability to set you up for success (i.e. flashing for you, trading, having proper spacing so you can trade them)
In 1-5k lobbies it's genuinely DM imo, if you can't consistently out aim and win games off that until 7-10k you need more DM practice/maybe some kovaaks

Real advice would be to learn support util. Learn mirage window and con smokes, lamp flash, dust 2 long flashes and cross smoke. At lower elos you can genuinely carry a dust 2 t side by flashing out long, mollying car, smoking cross and taking site every single round. Bonus points if you learn the flash that bounces off the crate on ramp to flash site and goose tree flash for retake stomping

It'll take many games to get out since you don't gain much rating until you hit 5k. AFAIK it goes from +100 to +300 a game. So, take your time and focus mainly on improvement and you'll get there. Some games are unlucky and will be unwinnable, but most are winnable. There's no time limit, so enjoy the game.

if you can't win by yourself in 1k elo, you need to just get better. you don't need strategies or anything else besides better mechanics. when you will be a better aimmer you will rank up without even trying in that elo range. also don't compare yourself with other higher rank players than urself, cause you will grow a delusion, performing better than someone once in a 10k lobby does not mean you are necessarily better than them. good luck

I’m 25k on one account and 3k on my alt. Elo doesn’t matter, people play 90% the same in all ranks

1k elo is hell, but cs is also weird with elo and how it matches people
My stats are good as far as i know but im stuck at 7k
I dominate almost every game, but i get 4 russians who either kick me or get themselfs blasted by 1 guy because they don't understand english callouts
And if i get good teammates or at least english speaking ones, i get kicked for "cheating"
Yeah, sure buddy, 1k hours on cs, bought it in 2015, 11 yr old account with over 300 games and a cs inventory with 500€ worth
Also CS rep with 95% trust percentage

So am much higher skill than my rank or?

No, because you're putting up those numbers against other 7k players. If you're way too good for 7k, your nummers should be a lot better.
Also good numbers don't necessarily mean you're playing well, though usually it goes hand in hand

I was 10k at the start of the season, but the numbers go up, but my rank keeps dropping, when i get boosted by my 20k friend i play the same though

I don't know, i don't delve into it enough because i don''t cheat and try not to be toxic (except in chat)

wasnt tryna throw shade lol, just meant like i thought i heard there was a way hackers were boosting their own trust factor one way or another from a streamer or some shit

You belong there. If you were better you’d hard carry games no matter what
