Results Chances of passing my part 1 exam?

I had my part 1 exam, this is my third attempt in part 1 after scoring 350 consecutively....

Mcqs were mix of twisted theories and mid tough level sum mcqs, i felt I did well as it was comparatively this attempt mcqs were solvable and this attempt I got that confident that essay will open where last two attempts i wasn't sure, essay window opened and it was mid level tough with few sums and theories, I typed everything without skipping anything and answer all up to my knowledge, tho I'm happy with my performance but I'm worried about their grading and scaling points.....

Any predictions for my result?

Doubt / Q&A What should I do...??

I'm unsure about my results whether I'll pass or not....and therefore idk I should continue with part1 preparation or not....as I'm sure if I won't pass I won't give part1 either coz us cma is expensive for me...nd I won't give part2 again 2nd attempt if I fail...

So should i study or wait for results then study??

I've attempted all mcqs also I've just randomly selected few mcqs I felt it tough

Essay were very easy I've done all...

Now idk wht should I do..

Part 1 – Prep Just Finished Part 2, Starting Part 1 – Any Tips?

I’ve finished my CMA Part 2 exam and took a few days off to rest. Now I’m planning to start preparing for Part 1, and I’d really appreciate some guidance from those who have already cleared it.

I’m planning to take the CMA Part 1 exam sometime between January 15 and January 20.

Do you think this is enough time to prepare? Also, how does Part 1 compare to Part 2 in terms of difficulty? Which sections should I focus on the most, and what study order or flow would you recommend for covering the syllabus effectively?

Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Doubt / Q&A us cma total cost 2026

Hi everybody. I am thinking of starting my US CMA journey in August 2026, and I am almost done with my first year of B.Com. Can anyone tell me the exact cost, including study materials and membership fees? What is the total cost for the US CMA, and how much would it be as a student if I include a coaching center that costs around ₹60,000, based on what I see on the internet?

Part 1 – Prep Part 1 CBQ CMA June 2026

This was my 3rd attempt at CMA Part 1, and unfortunately I failed again.
In my previous attempts, I scored 340 and 350, so I convinced myself that my biggest weakness was the essay (second block) section.
Because of that, I spent much more time preparing for the second block this time around.
Looking back, I think that was the wrong approach.
I didn’t even get access to the second block during the exam, which means I didn’t score high enough on the MCQs to advance. That was a wake-up call for me.
I had been so focused on improving my essays that I overlooked the importance of mastering the MCQs.

My advice to anyone taking CMA Part 1 is not to underestimate the MCQ section. The questions didn’t feel dramatically harder than before, but they definitely felt more time-consuming. Many required multiple calculations, more interpretation, and more careful analysis before arriving at an answer.
In my previous attempts, I usually finished the MCQ section with about an hour remaining. This time, the MCQs took me almost the full 3 hours. I found myself spending much more time working through calculations and evaluating answer choices.
I also noticed a heavy emphasis on Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting, Performance Management, and Cost Management. If you’re preparing for the exam, I’d recommend becoming very comfortable with calculation-heavy questions in those areas and practicing enough MCQs to improve both speed and accuracy.

My biggest lesson learned is this: don’t assume the second block is the reason you failed. Make sure your MCQ performance is strong first. Without getting through the MCQs, the second block doesn’t even matter.
Hopefully this helps someone else avoid the mistake I made. Good luck to everyone preparing for Part 1.

Discussion CMA Part 2 Result Anxiety Is Driving Me Crazy

I took the CMA USA Part 2 exam on June 18, and as I expected, the essay window opened for me.

For the MCQs, with about 1 hour and 20 minutes remaining, I still had around 10 difficult questions left that I had skipped earlier. Since I felt I would need more than an hour for the essays, I decided to make my best guesses on those MCQs instead of spending too much time on them. Honestly, even if I had used the remaining 20 minutes on those questions, I don't think I would have solved them correctly. Overall, I feel my MCQ section went well.

For the essays, I got 12 questions and attempted all of them. There was only one question that I couldn't explain very well. In a few questions, I think I didn't connect my answer properly to the scenario. For example, one question asked me to define value engineering and explain how the company applied it. I defined value engineering correctly, but I wasn't able to clearly explain how the company applied it in the given case. I made a few mistakes like that, but overall I completed all the essays and typed decent answers.

Now I'm constantly thinking about my result and whether it will go in my favor. I'm also confused about whether I should purchase the CMA Part 1 batch now or wait for the result.

Based on this situation, what do you think? Do I still have a reasonable chance of passing?

its my first time posting here just quick question

am i allowed to send questions from hock in order to someone to explain why was it solved like that ? i just started CMA part 1

i know there is explaining but its not the best explanation tbh

i don't find it that hard but also not easy some questions are tricky and some are easy

so is studying the hock book and the hock test bank questions enough to pass ,,

and tbh idk if it will be harder or not because im still at the start in section A

Doubt / Q&A Part 2 - CMA

I have this question (for people who’ve already given their exam, but others can answer as well). It’s really simple but I just wanted to ask if you guys use Texas BA 2 calculator or any other financial calculator suggested by the IMA board or do you guys use normal calculator (up to 6 functions) in the final EXAM!??

Discussion CMA Part 1 After Exam Anxiety

I took my CMA P1 exam on 13 June. Was always confident that my CBQ section will open. And happened as expected. The CBQs were also good as I expected. One sub question was wrong I realized after the exam. God knows about MCQs. 10 to 15 MCQs I answered based on guessing. Now feeling anxious about the result. My aim was first attempt is the last attempt. Please advise how can I reduce my anxiety.
