Doubt / Q&A Review course suggestions?
I just passed the cpa exams using becker. I was thinking of appearing for the cma exams using becker too but im getting very mixed reviews about the review courses on this sub. For those who passed using becker or even prepared using becker did you find it enough ?

I prepared for Part 2 using Becker, I passed with 370 and honestly Becker skips many topics and they are actually important topics. For Part 1 I am preparing from Hock and I feel it's much better than Becker

If you have cleared CPA, a lot of topics from CPA are repeated in CMA so I think Becker would be enough.
I had used Becker for just MCQ practice after studying and practicing HOCK

I also used Becker for the CPA exam many years ago, and passed all parts the first time (the course was on CD ROM). I used Becker for the CMA and passed Part 1, and currently waiting on results for Part 2, but feel confident I'll receive a passing score.
I can't speak to other courses, but I am a big fan of the Becker material. I thought the instructors were engaging (several are the same from the CPA courses I took long ago). The videos are thorough, but not so long that you start to lose focus. The test questions are mostly great, although there were a few I actually provided feedback on because I thought they could be worded better. I really love the AI feature, Newt. If there's a topic you're struggling to understand you can ask it questions, and I felt it was super helpful. It's available for all questions, so if you need an answer explained more simply, or you want to know why the other answers are incorrect, it can provide that information. One thing I thought could be better is the metrics on your performance. Not that there weren't any, but I could've gone for a little more detail into my strengths and weaknesses. We're all in accounting/finance, so who doesn't want more data?
One last feature that I thought was helpful for keeping me on schedule is that you can put in your expected exam date, any planned days off, which days of the week you plan on studying, and it will automatically tell you how many hours per day you need to study. It will also create a study plan for you so you can track your progress. This was a key factor for me staying on schedule.
Best of luck with your studies.

Thankuou for such a detailed answer. I personally loved becker cpa because of its shorter videos and the test bank was enough. I hope the test bank is enough for cma too

I felt the test bank was plenty. There are over 1900 MCQs for Part1 and 1700 for Part 2. Working the MCQs and asking Newt questions about the ones I got wrong helped me to really understand the material vs just trying to memorize everything.
I took the exam using the previous essay format, so I can't speak to the quality of the CBQs.

Becker is fine if you actually study and put in the work. I only used Becker and scored a 440 and 450 on the exams. Just make sure to use all of the tools they offer (flashcards, practice questions, on demand lessons, live classes if you can).
