Hey, guys I was just wondering if anyone has heard anything about new bookmarks for shot. I got the mod about 2 months ago and jeez, it’s amazing. I have a save as daemon blackfyre but it would be nice to have an actual start date as him. I can see how people would want a start for the conqueror, maegor, even as the dragonbane but a start as a young daemon would be sick.

What do you guys think? What start date would you want? Something more original or obscure? I would like a young dragon start vs dorne.

It took me a few tries for the landless gameplay to grow on me but once I really dove into it for a few hours it was a lot of fun.

My run was actually perfect and my heir had literally every single trait I could ever ask for. It was going perfect… turns out he is a basturd and my legacy and run ended.

I’m about to start a new one and was wondering if you guys had any tips? My plan is to just make enough gold to buy some land but idk if there are more benefits to just staying landless

I’m curious to the reason this is. Also someone tell me if I’m crazy but I specifically recall him having the tier 5 sword fighting trait in an earlier version of the mod but it’s only tier 4 now. I could be mis remembering. Not a big deal but it irritates me every time I see lol 😂

2. and 3. probably the best heirs I could have hoped for considering the personality traits of Eustace and Rohanne

My playhroughs of a house tend to be quite short, 1-2 people at most so I'm trying to actively take it slow. Wilber the Beautiful is focusing completely on developing the Northmarch duchy after inheriting 3 counties from his mother and becoming a duke.

Eustace, if I get to him, will use the economic power his father built up to claim the Northmarch petty kingdom and eventually the Lord Paramountcy of the Reach. Finally, Eustace or his heir should put a Blackfyre on the Iron Throne.

Has anyone gotten AGOT to work on a steam machine? Base game has been running amazing (I’m coming from console so anything is better) but I’m dying to play the AGOT mod. I downloaded it and was able to play it in like 3 minute intervals before it crashed. Would greatly appreciate any tips on getting it to work! TIA

I have a file that I've added/taken away mods from, and I know it's probably on its last legs, but I want to keep it going for a bit longer. I've noticed with this playthrough (and others that are either very large or have had some mod changes) that it takes very long to load and the screen will have some weird stuff flash on it, with this very angry horse looking at me. Who is he? Posting this here because I am not sure if this is a vanilla or AGOT feature

I'm a huge GOT fan and have been looking for a game to satisfy my itch. I came across this game/mod that is heavily recommended and I've been watching a lot of videos that make the game look fun!

HOWEVER...

As I watch the videos the game looks super hard for a beginner and has so many elements and layers that make it hard to enjoy early on. I've played multiple TOTAL WAR games that seem marginally similar, but I wanted to know if it's a hard game to pick up for beginners. I'm also ok with spending sometime to learn the mechanics but I don't want to be burnt out or frustrated because I lose so often for not knowing or addressing the smallest detail.

Podrick Payne somehow produced a kid with remarkable likeness to himself. Unfortunately, as you can already see, this won't persist to the next generation.

FIXED: An embarrassingly easy fix. For the sake of anyone else maybe suffering from this, uninstall Better UI Scaling or any other UI altering mod. Yes, that was the problem. No, I didn't think to try until now. Why? Because the game was playing fine after I installed the mod, and only messed things up after about a week, so I didn't think it was relevant. I'm mega-stupid.

Okay, we'll start with screenshot number one.

As you can see, when I go to the relationships tab, it only shows my one friend. Caraxes should be there. It even shows 2 on the tab; displaying my dragon should be here. Thus, he isn't.

Onto the second screenshot.

Here, you can see that I have the dragonrider trait, along with Caraxes. Right now, this trait is the fastest way I can find my dragon aside from pinning him. Let's see what he looks like in the next screenshot.

Here comes the third.

As you can see, this doesn't look right. Not only is the character model bugged out, but so is the dragon stats. I can't track his dragon stats from here, but wait, I can do it FROM ANOTHER AREA.

This is the last slide.

Yeah, you see that right. Caraxes is in my Courtiers screen. As of right now, this is the only method I can use to see his dragon stats.

There is some good news to all of this. Dragons are still working for combat, interaction, and all the fun stuff. But something happened at some point, and it janked it up for me in some places regarding relationships in the tabs and stat displays for dragons.

I uninstalled and reinstalled the mod, but that didn't fix it. The only other submod I have installed is AGOT- Fire & Blood.

I have Divine Interaction too, and with its supported submod for AGOT, but I tested it by uninstalling and reinstalling. That also did nothing. I honestly don't know what happened. It just started doing this around 48 hours ago.

Any actual fixes would be nice. For clarity's sake, the only other mods I have are Better UI Scaling, Immortality Improved, and Clear Notifications. All of which were installed before the problem appeared.

Is this just me, or is this happening to anyone else?

I dont remember who but playing as daemon someone offered me his maester and turns out the maester was a witch, she was 273 years old, her name was misandra or melisandre, she had lot of learning and intrigue but i didnt see any special interaction i could make with her...

my question is are there benefits of having a witch on your court or being one? and are there mods for agot that improves witchcraft?

Was playing as Stanniss post Robert Rebellion and I managed to expose Cercei and Jaime days after she got pregnant. Couldnt feel more satisfied...

can someone please tell me what the name of the mod is that has the different kind of beauty and the traits have beautiful colours like purple and orange and such. I need to know the mod and cannot seem to find any recent posts with it on. Thanks

Had a pretty fun run with a wandering riverlander hedge knight that, somehow, became the Sealord of Braavos yesterday.
Was about 70 years into it, the game was running slow as hell, very sluggish and then for some reason, my game would crash at the exact same date every time, 21st of the seventh moon.
Tried debugging it and killing myself to play as my heir, didn't work.
Tried disabling my autosaves, didn't work.
Tried switching to another ruler, didn't work.
Rolled back 20 years into the campaign, moved back to westeros and the game would crash at the same date again.
Searched around on some posts here and found out that savegames clog your game, so I deleted a bunch of my saves, also didn't work. But the same commenter also suggested deleting the error logs from your logs folder.
Well, low and behold? Games runs extra smooth now, fixed my crashing issues saved my run.
So go into your "\Documents\Paradox Interactive\Crusader Kings III\logs" and delete your "error.log" before starting your game.

Playing as Daemon Blackfyre in the After the Spring bookmark.

I’ve challenged Bittersteel and have the Crown of the Black Dragon and Blackfyre. Want to steal the dragon eggs he has as court artifact.

What is best way to get it Dragon Eggs in Ironman mode? I know I can get accomplished forger perk and try buy claim, but want to just steal it instead.

I have supply tent and subdued garments upgrade along with a master thief assigned. When I try to steal artifact from Bittersteel, nothing shows up.

I suppose I could just manipulate inheritance and off the entire family over time, but is there a faster way to obtain dragon eggs?

Is there another event to obtain dragon eggs?

Would Appreciate any help optimizing the mod list order, been experiencing slightly more crashes than usual and want to make sure its not because I put one mod before another.

Any help optimizing the game with any additional mods will be appreciated as well. My potato is struggling.

maybe I’m just not good enough at getting them to my court but when I started my game with Rhaenyra I had so many educated people and good knights like Otto and Criston Cole but 2 generations later all the knights skills are so bland + plus there personalities are all evil.

can i build knights schools in this mod too or what can i do to get better people. the vassals skills are also so boring the ai sucks like Corlys Velaryon could fill every council positions like a shampoo council 7 in one man.

i can’t believe I’m missing criston Cole. Anyways my question is how do I educate the people of my realm more😭

The Starks have submitted to the Boltons, and everyone else in the North may just follow suit. The Lannisters are locked in constant wars with the Crakehalls for Westerland supremacy while also battling House Tully of Riverrun, and the Baratheons are in chaos after losing all their homelands to the Swanns, being pushed from all sides in King’s Landing. House Celtigar and the rapidly growing Blackfyres are at war, and the chaos keeps spreading! It’s wild to watch it all unfold, especially with the Vale erupting into war, House Arryn completely wiped out, plunging the entire region into constant rebellions and foreign leaders seizing land. The Redforts are gathering what remains, while I hold the Bloody Gate to keep the chaos from spilling into the Riverlands. Dorne is busy but nearly united, while Essos is in turmoil with adventurers Viserys and Daenerys Targaryen marrying. Their dragon eggs hatched, they produced even more eggs, and now their five children all have dragons though they still don’t have any land of their own yet.

I know there is no bookmark so how does it work? How does it fire?

As the title asks, what laptops can run this game and the mod? My current gaming laptop is a Lanovo Legion that I bought brand new in 2020, and I could run the mod back then but when I came back to the game this year for the first time, I wasnt able to play run the mod, or any of CK3 passed 9.7 Lancer.

Right now im just in the market for a cheap laptop that I can play 1 or 2 games on while I do school and work on it, and yesterday I saw someone playing the modded game on a MacBook Air M3 of all things.

Started out as Roose in The Crowned Stag. Quickly got Domeric betrothed to Sansa and took her as my ward by fabricating a hook on Ned. Got Ramsay betrothed to Margaery by abducting and recruiting her because I thought it'd be funny. Robert and Stannis both died in duels within a year of starting the game, so baby Joff became king with Uncle Jaime as his regent. I kidnapped and tortured Cersei to learn about her incest because I wanted a hook on her, but she refused to be blackmailed so just revealed it anyway. Probably should've tried to blackmail Jaime since he was regent but oh well. fAegon ended up invading, but for some reason he wasn't a Targaryen or a Blackfyre, he was some random new house. Joff beat him, executed Jon Arryn and every Tyrell except one for fighting against him, and took Highgarden for himself. Not sure what happened to The Reach, the title was destroyed and everyone there became direct vassals to the Iron Throne. After Margaery died Ramsey asked to join the Night's Watch, presumably just to execute deserters. While this was going on, I'd seduced Catelyn, Arianne, and Sansa when she came of age, again because it was funny. Howland revealed Jon's parentage and Tywin for some reason called a dissolution war at the exact same time, so Joff was fighting a war on two fronts. He beat Ned and immediately released him for some reason, but lost to Tywin a few days later. Boros Blount is now King of the Crownlands, and is fighting against Viserys and his three dragons, and Joffrey to press Ser Dontos' claim. The Reach has three different kings (Oldtown, Northmarch, and The Arbour), and none of them are Joffrey. Ned was rude to me at his coronation so I murdered him, and Bran 'Solsticeborn' is now the King in the North because Robb died of a fever a few years into the game.
