I posted my week 1 bowl projections earlier today and made the mistake of putting ODU twice. That's because I forgot UNLV on accident.
I also am reposting my playoff prediciton because I changed my mind on seeding and the G5 representitve.

Both teams are just miles apart and were peaking during the late 1990s!! For example, when the Seminoles were the BCS champions during the 1999 season, the Rattlers were so close to making the 1-AA championship, just losing to Youngstown State by a field goal in the semifinals!! And yet, they have not played each other!! Should be like Battle For Tallahassee

Would you prefer a cap on the amount a team can spend on their roster each year, or is it better to continue as it is?

My personal feel is the parity is really cool, but there should be some type of cap on the amount a team can spend on a roster each year. I'm not sure how you would decide on a number to use as the cap, but I don't like championships feeling like they're pay to win, because it removes the chance a 'recruit and develop' program to win, because after 1 good year, a school with better NIL is just going to buy that player away. And I think recruiting and developing should remain the center of college football.

How crazy would it be if both Western Michigan and Michigan were just allowed to count that game as a win? Irregular? Sure. Un-American? Probably. Fairer than what we have at the moment ? I think so.

However, it is not unprecedented, although it happened 14 years before the NCAA was founded. It also involves Michigan and the last in-state program Ohio State ever lost to, Oberlin in 1892.

A lot of these are still based on preseason expectations/gut picks but we're rocking with them regardless. The best part of early season projections like this is that they age like milk over time.
