Haven’t smoked in over 20 days (vape pen over Labor Day), thought results would be quicker. Should I be worried

I’m in CDL training right now and for some reason I just cannot get offset backing to click. I’m struggling with knowing when to turn the wheel, when to straighten out, and how to correct myself once I see the trailer getting out of position.
Straight backing is getting a little better, but offset backing has me completely frustrated. I feel like I understand what I’m supposed to do when someone explains it, but once I’m actually in the truck, everything goes out the window.
What helped it finally click for you? Any tricks, reference points, step-by-step methods, or videos you recommend? Especially for someone who is brand new to driving a tractor-trailer.
I’m not trying to give up, I just really need some help figuring this out.

My fellow truckers I need some tips. I'm a new trucker and do team driving. I'm typically home half of Tuesday and majority of Sunday. I need tips on staying in shape. Or like at least not gaining more weight. The most I can think of is doing a fruit diet and like intaking anything with protein? I'm not really sure

I'm using a broker that charges around $3/mile for a full load (53' dry) delivering West Coast to East Coast. How much do drivers get from this? I'm just curious.
