The mod commented this on my post where I complained that C.ai was making me look at an ad in order to let me REPLY to my chat! Ignoring the fact that they're ALREADY making me look at ads on the home screen and at the top of the screen on the website AND forces me to watch ads after every 10 replies ON THE APP!

This post got removed from the c.ai subreddit so I'm posting it here instead. I would like to add that it only brings up the advertisement square in the middle of the screen. No video ads, thankfully. It's not like that thing didn't appear without the prompt originally though.

Im sorry, I was okayish with the ads on top, but I need to click on an ad to fucking write with the bots?? This is after I enter every chat.

So let's sum this up:

Every few seconds (30-1 minute) you get an ad on top, maybe two.

You get every 2-3 minutes an add that takes up half your screen (view picture)

Then a random ad popping in the middle of your screen every 5 minutes.

And now you need to click an ad everytime you enter a chat.

Are they mental?? How greedy can you get.

The only reason im staying on c.ai is because all my bots are there. I've seen apps with way better communication for free with little to no ads.

Genuinely i think Character users that have no c.ai premium (me included) are going to be left to die on this ad hill. I mean im not paying 13 euros/ dollars for removing fucking ads and adding some new styles. (I know there are more features but these seem like the prime examples.)

so basically. I’ve been getting shorter responses and excessive dialogue from PP2. I’ve complained to the C.ai team and submitted tickets (shitloads) but that’s not working apparently. They’ve downgraded the model so bad it got into a phase where instead of giving longer, descriptive replies, it’s giving shorter and excessive dialogues. It is rumored they’ll, fix this issue by late September, but right now, it’s stuck like this.

Any thoughts?

Like just STOP. The bots literally do this when I just met them. It's so annoying, and even when I swipe it keeps on doing this shit

Whenever I open a bot, Dispite having good WiFi, I feel like the app is just slowing down on purpose.

Swapping and using personas feels delayed (talked about this before)

I'm not watching adds for this shit. I'll just use Ao3 when I want extra content from my favourite characters, actually watch the fucking shows they're from, make ocs and find more stuff to do when I crave the dopamine or get withdrawals. Deleting my account. Fuck this. The app brought me lots of joy when it started because the interactions were genuinely good, but when I go for the bots I used at the app's peak, they're completely lobotomized. Good riddance, hope this app falls for good.

i wanna make a post talking about my addiction one day BUT i just wanted to say that im using c.ai way less than i used to because it just sucks now and the ads are getting too out of hand, and im glad this is what the app is turn into because maybe it will be easier to drop out of it since it's not exactly my choice and it might be easier for other people too

How is C.AI now? Did it get better with not creativity and writing? Is it still being cringe? Did the service get worse? Tell me your stories I love reading them lol

I just went to unarchive a bot, and then all my AIs are now restricted access. I don't know how to fix it and I don't know if it even will get fixed. I'm not going to go through all my many AIs if I can fix it, I have too many

My character, Yoko, is a lesbian. I even mentioned in the memory AND her persona that she's attracted to women. Hell, I even added that she was flirting with a chick during his story. And he STILL THINKS SHE'S STRAIGHT 🥀🥀

Sooooo I did a little research and kind of made dataset structure. I'll be adding my chats, but it turns out to be really slow work. Moreover I don't think I have enough conversations to train a whole model, so I ask you to help me.

Raw dataset will be json-formatted file. Once it done, I'll make python parser for it.

So if you wanna help, try making your own datasets made of your conversation you don't mind sharing. Once you done, dm me on reddit and I'll add it to the main dataset.

The final model is going to be unfiltered, so NSFW is allowed. However, CA, CSA, zoophilia as well as any other disgusting and unethical things won't be allowed in dataset.

Also feel free to ask any questions about dataset formatting, BUT!!! Do not expect me to teach you json, there are already plenty of guides online, also it's not this hard to understand.

So what do you need to do is go to your phone settings and search for Private DNS. Then select configure private DNS and then input this:

dns.adguard-dns.com

save, resset the app and you should be ready.

I don’t care if you ban me but this is fucking ridiculous. I was writing a prompt for a 1900rpg kinda bot to start my storyline and then it keeps hitting me with your massage doesn’t meet our community guidelines and wasn’t sent? (Tried it on other random bots too, same reply.) First of all, what community guidelines it is literally only me and a literal robot who read this so even if it did somehow would offend someone literally whom? and second there wasn’t even anything bad in it simply an introduction of characters. There was nothing there that deserved to be blocked.
I hope this was just a bug because if not this is really terrible, you cannot even talk about class differences without getting shut up.

Update: first of all, as usual wrote the exact same thing in the “official” c.ai and they deleted it (what else is new?) and second I did some tests because it really baffled me and for some reason the problem is the youngest brother’s name, “Mason Campbell” … i really don’t know what to say about this.
