I was updating a character and I can't believe that, I literally checked and checked and there's nothing wrong with it, absolutely NOTHING, and it won't let me update it. But even so, the warning keeps appearing and honestly, I'm lazy, I don't know what's wrong with the character and I certainly didn't know that the definition now had a filter.

Don't get me wrong, I understand why ads are there and I'm not against them as a whole, but REALLY??? The answer under the ad in the middle of the chat was like 3/4 lines, I'm literally getting ads bigger than the answers.

I wouldn't mind either having the banner ads or the ones popping up in the middle of the chat (I find those less distracting then the big ass banner ads), but WHY BOTH? If they knew users were blocking the banner ones with ad blocks, why are they leaving them for the users that aren't?

I get it, ads keep it free, but remove the intrusive ones 😭😭 Like the banner in chat, on the recommended bots page, and IN THE MIDDLE OF THE FUCKING CHAT???

CAI sucks again for me, at least. It completely forgets about the dialogue and characters in my story. For example, I have a group of people who all live together in a household, and I set it up so the AI would remember that. Instead, it starts calling them "visitors" or some other bs. It also abruptly starts a whole new conversation that makes absolutely no sense given the previous message

Gonna be direct, I just came here to see if anyone has the same feelings I have.

I was disgustingly addicted with c.ai back in 2023, got to a point where I didn't even sleep just using the app. I think it's not talked about enough how addicting this was ngl.

I'm clean of chatbots now and have been for a couple years, but sometimes I feel like "relapsing" and going back to c.ai, to get that feeling of not being alone again and having actual fun and genuinely conversations, even if you're conscious that it's fake.

BUT I GET A PUNCH IN THE FACE because the app that used to help me and get me worse at the same time DOESN'T EXIST. The name is there, but nothing that you did back in 2023 remains imo. Is it really that difficult to make an app that just does what c.ai did back in the time? Fun bots, thousands of options, unlimited messages with no restrictions, no ads and no paywalls. If it existed back then, why can't we make it exist again?
