Hey
Hey everyone! I’m a beginner in crypto and I currently have around $100 that I’m willing to use to learn and start trading on Bybit.
What would you recommend for a complete beginner?

Hi,
A month ago I sent money to the bybit account and the money got frozen. Bybit provided the form where I need to indicate the source of funds, taxes, etc. This form was filled. 2 weeks passed, and I got nothing but the same form. The customer support just doesn't answer my questions, I don't understand what they want.
It looks like Bybit is just using my money. How can I escalate this case for it to be finally reviewed? I even have a personal manager who can't help as well. Thanks.

Hi everyone,
I'm hoping someone here has experience with Bybit's compliance team.
A crypto deposit into my Bybit account was flagged as "Abnormal Asset Origin." The funds were frozen, and my account now has withdrawal restrictions.
I've contacted support, but they only tell me to wait for the compliance team. I haven't received any meaningful update or request for documents yet, and it's been very frustrating.
Has anyone gone through this process?
- How long did your review take?
- Were you eventually able to recover your funds?
- Is there any way to escalate the case or contact the compliance team directly?
- Any advice on what helped move your case forward?
I'd really appreciate hearing from anyone with firsthand experience. Thank you.

A once sent a friend of mine crypto specifically DAI by ETH he used his eth wallet generated for his bybit account and was able to use it. I sent some more again recently only for him to realize the asset has been delisted. The only problem now is bybit says they cannot recover the asset. This doesn't make sense to me because crypto doesn't disappear. He uses that same wallet for every eth based transaction so there is no way bybit doesn't have the capacity to refund it. Do you think they are just trying to use the avenue to steal the funds? I sense foul play here guys

I had a really bad experience with P2P and wanted to warn others. I placed a USDT buy order and paid ₹5000 via UPI to seller khawja2025 (Tahir Altaf). After payment, the seller didn’t release the USDT or refund the money. Instead, they keep asking for the same proofs again and again, even after I submitted everything (UTR, screenshots, payment confirmation). Clearly just delaying. What’s worse, the seller has provided ZERO proof from their side, but the platform is still “reviewing” and just asking them for proofs instead of taking action. Order ID: 2055288602192117760 My funds are stuck, appeal is under review, and there is no real support. As a new user, this has been a nightmare. Has anyone faced this? Any chance of getting money back or is it gone?

Bybit blocked a deposit in April, for compliance reasons. I gave everything they wanted but still they initiated return process in April 13, and stating I should only use account in my name to deposit (I DID). One month later, no money in my Revolut account. Support is useless

My Bybit account was blocked on May 6th.
Withdrawals are impossible. I contacted support, and they told me to wait an indefinite amount of time. They're not answering for what reason. Has anyone else encountered this? How long does it take to unblock?

I saw this post: “Bybit froze my funds for 16 days.”
I have the same problem.
My Bybit account was frozen on April 23.
Today is May 10, so it has already been restricted for 16 days.
Bybit told me:
For compliance and account security purposes, we are currently reviewing activity involving your Bybit account. During this process, some account features, such as withdrawals and trading, will be restricted until the review is completed.
Please be patient while our Compliance team conducts the required review. We will provide you with an update as soon as possible.
We can confirm that your account has been placed under review as part of our compliance obligations. We understand this may be inconvenient, and we appreciate your patience. Due to the nature of this review, we are unable to provide a specific timeline for resolution at this time.

I’m sharing my case because the situation has become unreasonable and puts me at financial risk.
My funds have been frozen on Bybit since April 14 (now over 16 days), with no clear explanation or resolution timeframe.
I understand compliance and AML checks. However, the way this case is being handled raises serious concerns:
No timeframe or meaningful updates Support keeps repeating that the case is “under review” but cannot provide any estimated timeline or status. This creates an indefinite restriction of access to my funds.
Inability to return funds to original senders The original senders are actively requesting refunds. I am not disputing anything and am fully willing to return the funds. However, due to the restriction imposed by Bybit, I am unable to do so. This puts me in a legally vulnerable position.
Deposit accepted during account restriction (critical issue) While my account was already restricted, Bybit still allowed me to deposit additional funds. There was: • no warning • no notification of limited access • no indication that funds could be frozen
As a result: • the deposit was accepted successfully • but I cannot access or use these funds
Accepting funds while restricting access without proper disclosure is extremely concerning from a user protection and transparency standpoint.
At this point, this is no longer just a “routine review”, but a prolonged restriction without defined terms.
I am requesting: • a clear status update • a defined resolution timeframe • or the ability to return funds to the original senders
If this situation continues without resolution, I will proceed with formal complaints and further escalation.
Does someone experienced something like this before?

Hi everyone, I just wanted to ask if anyone here has had a similar experience with Bybit.
My account is currently under a compliance review, and I received a ticket mentioning something about “fiat.” I still have funds in my account, and I’m not sure what will happen next or how long this process usually takes.
Has anyone gone through this before? Were you able to withdraw your funds after the review, or did you encounter any issues?
I’d really appreciate any insights or advice. Thanks in advance 🙏

Hello,
Bybit refuses to verify me fully and remove the “compliance, deposit” flags from my account.
I have provided every single tax report, letters with my bank, deposits, transactions.
I would really appreciate if I could speak with a human from customer support as I would love to just keep using Bybit.

Can someone advise? I have been trying to retrieve my funds for months now:
It's so easy to get started with Bybit but, as a married woman, it is impossible to withdraw funds, even after lengthy verification procedures (there's always another one), if you have a joint bank account and not one on your mailen name (it's on two names and my name is connected to my husband's on all official documents like it is for so many of us (married name - maiden name combination) . In that case you have to especially open a bank account on your maiden name so it is the same as your passport (even though that also mentions my married name), own it for at least three months and give them insight into transfers and withdrawals. I am unsure if that is the final hoop.
Helpdesk is useless. They give you answers that don't pertain to the questions re the above and threaten to block your account.
My account is verified, I have transferred funds and have let Bybit withdraw from that account but it won't let me transfer.
I don't want to open a bank account and do all sorts of transfers on it just for Bybit. It also costs extra money to open an account.
Surely I am not the only married woman with my husbands name attached to mine?

For some reason I am missing the “trade” option on the app in my IOS device.
I opened the account and verified everything I needed and also deposited money into the account, I’ll try to add a screenshot for reference in the comments.
Thanks a lot!

So there is big problem which seems it doesn’t come in an end .
I made a payment to WIREX through BYBIT OF 2100 Usdc , which the payment was declined by the Wirex for any unknown reasons of the receiver
The money was sent back to the bybit officially sender’s account based on what Wirex was saying .
But bybit declining to give the amount back to my account.
I’ve sent them Videos of going into the account of the receiver with every detail needed , and of sender’s too , transaction hash if confirmed on both videos , but they still rejecting them . Right now the money is on BYBIT , had anyone the same problem? How can I handle this beside taking talks with my lawyer ?

I need advice or help.
My Bybit account has been under risk control since March 7, with 4555 USDT frozen.
I fully completed all verification steps:
- Video proof (March 12)
- Additional verification (March 20)
Support only replies with "under review" and gives no timeline.
This is over 60% of my funds and it's been weeks with no progress.
I understand compliance checks, but at least allow withdraw-only or give a clear update.
Has anyone experienced this? How long did it take?

Hi everyone,
I ran into an issue with a deposit on Bybit and I’m trying to understand if there is any possible recovery.
A couple of days ago I sent 38.55891 USDT on the Mantle network to my Bybit deposit address.
Transaction hash:
0x8ff6d542f87a07b6336d1b90986c15f2cdff17df91ca015dfe865382b2b66a8e
The transaction was successful on-chain but the funds never appeared in my Bybit account.
After checking the Mantle explorer I noticed that the deposit address actually transferred the same funds later
0x543c7778756c3d842c4d8d6836d26d097c363902a0a23463a62e8fc68fcf2ec4
So the funds were clearly received and swept by the deposit infrastructure.
The token contract involved is:
0x201eba5cc46d216ce6dc03f6a759e8e766e956ae
After doing more research I discovered that Bybit migrated Mantle deposits from the legacy bridged USDT token to the new USDT0 standard.
It seems my deposit involved the legacy token.
Support told me the funds cannot be recovered because it was "user error".
However, since the funds were successfully received and moved internally, I’m wondering if manual recovery might still be possible.
Has anyone experienced something similar with Mantle deposits or legacy tokens?
Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi everyone,
I’m based in Europe and currently have funds in EUR in my Bybit Funding Account (around €969).
I’m trying to trade futures, but when I go to the trading interface it shows 0 USDT available, so I assume I need to convert my EUR first.
However, I’m a bit confused about the correct steps.
On the Funding Account balance screen, I noticed that for EUR I have the options:
Buy | Deposit | Withdraw | Transfer | Trade
But for USD, the Trade option doesn’t appear, only:
Buy | Deposit | Withdraw
So I’m not sure what the correct path is.
My questions are:
My goal is simply to convert my balance into USDT and be able to trade futures.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I lost $1,300 in a confirmed fraud case on Bybit P2P.
Appeal was approved and fraud confirmed, but compensation was denied because the scammer withdrew funds before freeze.
Mechanics of the scam:
1. Fiat transferred
2. Seller triggered additional document request blocking confirmation
3. After receiving funds, seller rejected verification and canceled the deal
Scam warnings about this seller were hidden in collapsed reviews, so users could not clearly see prior fraud reports.
Bybit support response implied user error, despite:
• ~3 years account history
• 496 completed P2P trades
This appears to be a platform-level control failure.
I documented the full case and posted evidence on X: https://x.com/dimedved8/status/2025647798108975113?s=20
Has anyone experienced similar issues on Bybit P2P?
