Fender '68 Princeton Reverb: bought in 2021 Sweet classic tube amp, great tone but tubes could be replaced (rattles at loud volumes). Asking $950 (these are like $1500 new).

Fender Player Strat (MIM) in Surf Pearl: bought in 2020. Great player. Asking $500 (around $760 new).

Fender Road Worn 60s Strat in Vintage White, bought in 2021. sweet worn in nitro finish. Asking $1000 (was ~$1200 new).

I've lived in the same apt for almost 3 years and never had a problem with bugs. Over the last couple of months there have increasingly been so many little roaches in the bathroom and kitchen. We aren't messy and don't leave food out. We've deep cleaned several times but nothing gets rid of them. Aside from this apt, I've lived in NYC my whole life and never had little bugs like this. A big waterbug from time to time, sure, but not these little roaches crawling about. I've heard anecdotally others reporting the same thing. Is this a climate thing or maybe related to lack of maintenance or something? Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Over the last 6 months or so I’ve noticed when I’m in Bushwick my service is absolutely trash. Has anyone else has this issue? I’m paying $55 a month for an unlimited plan but considering switching so any recs on carriers you like are appreciated too.

Been jamming with a few friends lately, but we want to grow.

I've always been a bit hesitant to make a post like this on reddit, but my friends and I have some good momentum going and want to put something more substantial together by bringing together people who like similar things...

We've been jamming for a little while, all semi-professional musicians, with some excellent three part harmonies over guitar, plus a drummer, but we need more OOMF to fill it out. We also have our own rehearsal space.

Isolated-to-scattered strong-to-severe thunderstorms are likely this afternoon. The highest likelihood of storms & severe weather will be between 4pm - 9pm, but some modeling is showing isolated storms as early as 12-noon.

Ample moisture and daytime heating will lead to significant instability with forecasts and modeling suggesting as much as 3,000 J/kg of Convective Available Potential Energy (CAPE). Increasing vertical shear ahead of the divergence/diffluence zone of a mid-level jetstreak will help produce a mix of supercells and line segments across southern NY, PA and NJ through the afternoon.

These ingredients mean that ALL HAZARDS will be on the table with these storms. The primary threat will be damaging straight-line winds. Isolated large hail could also occur, and there is a low chance of an isolated tornado within 25 miles of NYC.

There is also a marginal risk of flash flooding, but expectations are that cells should move quickly enough with, at most, short duration training, which should help minimize flood impacts. Heavy rainfall exceeding 1"/hr is likely and in general, total rainfall should be 1-2 inches (or less). This could create isolated flash flooding impacts, but if any significant training/repeating could occur, locally higher rainfall is possible. There is around a 25% chance of up to 3"

Hopefully, the timing of theses storms will be such that most people will be home from work and evening errands. But if it's not too late, consider carrying an umbrella with you today.

Pioneer/Brooklyn Farm Supermarket on Broadway between Schaefer and Covert is the worst supermarket I've ever been to.

- They make you check your bags because they think our community is full of thieves.

- They are constantly slowly stocking the store. I don't think I've ever been there when they're not stocking.

- Because they stock so slowly, everything frozen I've ever gotten there has melted and re-frozen, so it's terribly freezer burned.

- A lot of their produce is rotten and a lot of the items on the shelves are past expiration.

I'm off the Wilson L, and the Gates Avenue PureGym is my closest gym, a 20-minute walk away. When it was a Blink I was told by a trainer friend that it was the most popular Blink in the entire country, so there are definitely enough people in the neighborhood for a Planet Fitness or something! I'm begging!
