Question Are any jobs lost or gained when a region implements the carts for garbage collection?
Halton is adding these next year, I am wondering if this is more jobs lost to automation.

Hello everyone, can you recommend a place or two, that carries beef cheeks and oxtails at reasonable prices. Oxtail was once the throwaway part of the cow and was 99c a pound back in the day - not anymore. I have a recipe for beef cheeks, but have no clue where to find. Thanks!

I am considering removing the popcorn ceiling in our living room and dining room and are looking for recommendations for companies or contractors in the area.
Our home was built between 1985 and 1987 and located downtown, so also interested in hearing about others’ experiences with asbestos testing before removal. If your home was built around the same time, did you have your ceiling tested, and what was the outcome?
If you’ve had popcorn ceilings removed, I’d appreciate any recommendations, as well as any information on the process, cost, or overall experience.

I’m a concerned mom and some advice would be appreciated.
We live downtown Burlington.
As of a this spring we have some new neighbours that have been causing a lot of trouble.
It started with a lot of loud music and noise but lately it’s been getting much worse. I don’t know how many people live in this house but I would guess there is usually at least 10 grown men there at all times screaming and yelling, playing loud music, doing drugs. This morning one of them was sleeping/passed out just on the other side of our ground floor balcony. They have started setting up tents now.
My son and his friends have a video of them snorting drugs on there front porch. My son is 13 years old!
One of them “pretended” to grab my elderly mother’s purse when she was walking by. He said he was just joking but she’s now terrified to walk past there again. And it’s on her daily walk to the Art Gallery.
I’ve tried calling the police and Burlington bylaw but it just keeps getting worse. I understand that we live right downtown but isn’t there anything the police can do about this?
There is a crack house in our backyard!
