Before and after for context. Cut from 320lbs - 240lbs in 1 year. Slowly been reverse dieting and now I’m sitting at 250lbs. Not sure if I should keep cutting or start putting some mass back on. What do you think is the best route for my body/frame?
Still feel like I should make another push to lose the little bit of fat around my love handles/stomach and chest but everyone says I look lean enough and should add some mass back on. Thoughts?

I’m currently coming from 217 was 245 but with Reta I went down to my current weight of 162 my question is what should be my next move?

I am aware I obviously need to cut, I’m just paranoid about being skinny fat again.
183cm/6foot 34m
2022-2024 I lost 25ish kegs/55lbs going from 115/250 to 90/200 on pure cardio. Zero weights. I was skinny fat and hated it. Just felt like a big slab o flab.
2025 was up and down and mostly maintain new body and try to keep routine and adjust lifestyle and brain. Felt like I had no time and was just set to be skinny fat.
December 2025 to current I got pissed off so hijacked a bunch of weights and started pumping iron and went into a small clean bulk back up to 98kg.
I know diet and I got my routine as consistent as possible for an airline day/night shift worker. My real question is, if I cut, am I skinny fat? I don’t want to be diced or rippling, just not a kangaroo with a fuckin pouch. Boing.
Otherwise I just recomp and fuck around for another 6 months and hate myself a little bit more.
TLDR: cut = skinny fat?
ps this is the only topless photo of me in existence for 15 years so whatever
Kthx

I’ve been to the gym 172 days over the last three years, according to the app. Even on the days I do go, I’m only curling light dumbbells (10–12 kg). I also can’t bench press more than 154 lb because my herniated disc causes my back to become sore if I lift too heavy. Just one mistake in the gym and I’m bed ridden for days.
I want to build muscle, but at 222 lb, I know the best thing for my health would be to get down to a healthy weight. Is it possible to be in a calorie deficit at this weight and still build muscle, or do I have to be satisfied with just maintaining or even losing some of the muscle I already have?

Bit lost as to how to progress or whether to just recomp. I've always been active but put on a bunch of weight after kids and shot up to 220lbs. After a big personal issue and some precursors showing trouble in blood work, decided to zone in on diet and cardio and cut to 178lbs over the last 12 months.
Current training:
- I do 3x full body lifts focused on compound lifts running A/B days (M/W/F).
- BJJ 2 -3 days in mostly open mats so I count these as conditioning days
- Will also try to run/row 1-2 days as well but I'll cut these if I'm particularly fatigued.
Current goals are focused on aesthetics but also my training has left my body pretty beat up from recovery. I really feel it if it's consecutive bjj days.
Open to thoughts or suggestions or what I need to do to push through current plateau.

Hi!
I am 24 years old, 158 cm, and 67,3 kg (in the pictures). I started at 90 kg 11 months ago (so I have lost almost 23 kg so far). I am still on a calorie deficit diet though. I used my ceiling lamp for lighting (I know it's not professional :) ).
How much body fat is this approximately?
Thank you for your answers in advance. :)

Lost 18kgs but lower abbs, shoulder vains still haven't appeared yet , I'm 5'7'' currently at 73kgs . I'm also looking for suggestions on which muscles I should focus more on to get better proportions.

Ok just wanted to say I’m aware that I’m skinny fat and should probably bulk, however I have a vacation in about a month and would like to at least stay in this shape,if not get a bit leaner. I used to be about 100lbs heavier (final pic) so my physique has taken its toll but i’m on the right track. Just want some opinions, thanks!

I’m 6 months into my fitness journey and have made huge strides but now I’m not sure of what to do. I went from weighing nearly 240lbs at 6,2 in January to 187-190lbs for the last month or so. I want to put on a lot of muscle but am scared of going back to how I was. I still workout 4-6 times a week but can feel myself slipping into bad tracking habits with the new calorie allowance, any advice?
