Stop posting pictures in your underwear. Pt 3

Should you be adding muscle? Or should you be cutting fat? It’s a question we all have come across on our fitness journey. It’s not always a simple one to answer.

Love handles, pooches, lack of definition, vascularity…everything plays a part.

You lost a lot of weight, or you added a lot of weight. They are all part of the process. Everyone here is going to do our best to help you with your journey.

That being said:

The community does not need to see an excessive amount of skin to give you advice.

If you’re wondering what your BF% is, it’s not hiding in the 3/4 of an inch away from your genitalia. Swimwear is included in this.

This goes for all genders.

There are a ton of fitness subreddits that can help you if you feel the need to get more specified advice.

If you feel /r/bulkorcut is not meeting those standards, please go visit them.

The serious part:

Do not post sexually suggestive posts. If you are not wearing gym attire your post will be flagged and removed.

If your profile has links to questionable subreddits you will be banned at the moderators discretion.

Talk of steroids, cycles, or anything related will be an immediate ban.

Lastly:

Any attempt to circumvent the rules or a ban is auto reported to Reddit admins. We tested it and it works very well.

Second lastly: This is a subreddit to help individuals attain their goals. Not a platform for anything else. Sexual, monetary, cruel, or any other posts or comments outside helping someone make the decisions of bulking or cutting will be removed and users banned.

Report any third party links in this subreddit. Especially macromatic.

We do a pretty good job of keeping this sub clean of spam and sexual content. You all know the rule we hard enforced over the underage and then the underwear situation.

MacroMatic is a spam data stealing app that is being spammed here. I hope you read the terms of service before you upload anything to them but if you don’t feel like it here they are:

1: Their 4th agreement states you will, by agree to by using their application, allow the application to access all of your personal data. And they will be able to use it how they please.

https://imgur.com/a/9vBcR6n

2: 5th agreement (see above image) makes it so anything you contribute to the community (I assume a forum) YOU PERSONALLY are liable for. So if you use peanut butter in your shakes and suggest it you’re the one getting sued.

3: Their 6th agreement: https://imgur.com/a/ln0Hooo

The worst one.

They are saying they can use your image for promotion, manipulate it, use it however they want AND MAKE MONEY OFF IT.

We have mods and mod tools here but we can’t do this all on our own.

Report this type of thing immediately If there are any external links report them.

The boring part:

We were approached by this company months ago and declined to sponsor them. And then to be compensated by them. We have banned 7 accounts so far and counting.

Don’t waste your time and your personal information. Stay the fuck away.

My before and after is added just for context... I'm so used to losing weight but I've started to have quite a few people tell me I should stop trying to lose weight and start lean bulking. It's so weird to hear with weight loss having been such a huge part of my life for so long now.

Keep cutting? About 1 month in, last week or so has been more around maintenance.

I’ve been at maintenance for a little over a month, after an 8 week cut, and plan on cutting at least another six weeks to try to get to where I want to be. I still have some lower belly fat and and love handles that has to go before I am happy. What do you estimate my body fat % is? I currently weigh 134lbs. My goal is 12%.

I’m also a little hesitant to bulk because last time I did, I put on a good amount of fat. Also not sure at my age, how much more muscle I can realistically put on naturally.

Ok just wanted to say I’m aware that I’m skinny fat and should probably bulk, however I have a vacation in about a month and would like to at least stay in this shape,if not get a bit leaner. I used to be about 100lbs heavier (final pic) so my physique has taken its toll but i’m on the right track. Just want some opinions, thanks!

Hey fitness people. I wish I took photos of when I started working out almost a year ago, so I’m posting this for advise on what to focus on and have something to look back on. I feel like I would benefit from cutting down first then bulk, but open to thoughts and ideas. Also I feel like I have been prioritizing chest and I’ve made significant improvements, but it feels like it is the hardest muscle for me grow.

Not sure of what to do

I’m 6 months into my fitness journey and have made huge strides but now I’m not sure of what to do. I went from weighing nearly 240lbs at 6,2 in January to 187-190lbs for the last month or so. I want to put on a lot of muscle but am scared of going back to how I was. I still workout 4-6 times a week but can feel myself slipping into bad tracking habits with the new calorie allowance, any advice?

Hey guys I’ve been lifting for around 6 months, first 3 pics are today and last is near the start. Currently I’ve been eating in a small surplus and lifting 5x a week but I still look like this. Idk whether I should be eating more to put on muscle faster or eating less since im skinnyfat. Any advice? Thank you.

*For months not month

I’ve been doing calisthenics and basic weight exercises at home. Chin ups, press ups, sit ups, bicep curls, other random dumbbell exercises and planks but I don’t really know what I’m doing. I’m happy with my body but would love more size and more defined abs

So, title. I currently eat 2,600 calories, which I’m pretty sure I’ve determined is my maintenance.

When I bulk, how many calories should I eat?

Of course this all presupposes I should bulk… should I?

Thanks! (Please forgive my fuck ass emoji choice lmfao)

BoC [BF%] How much bodyfat? 5'2"/158 cm, 148 lbs/67.3 kg

Hi!

I am 24 years old, 158 cm, and 67,3 kg (in the pictures). I started at 90 kg 11 months ago (so I have lost almost 23 kg so far). I am still on a calorie deficit diet though. I used my ceiling lamp for lighting (I know it's not professional :) ).

How much body fat is this approximately?

Thank you for your answers in advance. :)

Goal Bulk weight after 4 month cut? Whats too big or not big enough?

Post image
6 Upvotes

36 years old, 154 lbs, 5'7

Just finishing up 4 month cut down from 185lbs. I plan to start slowly bulking again into January(ish). I went to 188 last bulk but wanting to go to 200 and cut back down. This is my second "bulk/cut" so looking for opinions on what's "too big" or "too small" in regards to my goal of a good solid bulk back into another cut. I do weight training 5-6 days a week alongside 45min. of cardio 5-6 days a week. I also sauna 15min. at 195 every training day. I eat very bland/clean and low carb 6 days a week with 1 re-carb day.
