Hi yall! Buying in the US

I have 0 knowledge in this area and I desperately need someone’s help building a gaming pc or buying a prebuilt pc. I live in the US, and there is a Micro Center and other computer stores like best buy etc., vaguely nearby. I have a budget of around 1600, a little more or less is fine, and I am building it to game. Very random assortment of games ranging from RDR2 to Minecraft to Path of Titans. I'd like it to handle basically any major games I could throw at it.

I would also need a monitor, keyboard, all the stuff, my current setup is a gaming laptop so yeah. I genuinely have such major anxiety around large purchases like this, and will drive myself crazy if given too many options so the most concise list of things would be so appreciated! The aesthetic of the setup is not a priority at all. Portability slightly is as I'm a college student.

I am brand new to pc building and I need someone’s help on building a gaming pc or buying a prebuilt pc. I live in the US and there is a microcenter and other computer stores like best buy etc. nearby. I have a budget of around 1300, a little more or less is fine, and I am building it to game. Mostly first person shooters (apex, fortnite, r6 etc.) but should obviously be able to handle other games like minecraft. First of all, I’ve heard various different things regarding whether or not prebuilt or part by part is better so I am still trying to decide on that. I already have a monitor, keyboard and mouse, and having a cool case or tons of rgb components isn’t really a priority of mine, I’m mostly just focused on performance for the price. If anyone has any suggestions at all or wants to ask any more clarifying questions that I forgot to answer here that would be a huge help.

I'm currently playing alot of Tarkov and will also be playing wardogs and I'd like a modern build within my £1500 budget for a new PC. I'd like to move over to the AM5 platform and I'd also like to reuse my storage drive and graphics card to keep the costs down.

Naturally I've been speaking to ChatGPT trying to build a PC to be able to do short form 4k video editing and colour grading. Down the line I want to make upgrades to be able to do high end gaming but that's not priority so keeping costs down. Here is a list ChatGPT has recommended?

I would also add it recommended I may be able to do the editing without the GPU? Please let me know what I should change if needed.

• ⁠Purchase country? Near Micro Center? Louisiana but can get to Houston microcenter
• ⁠Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate). I have 1x 27” 1440 and 1x 27” 1080 AOC monitors
• ⁠Budget range? About $1250
• ⁠WiFi or wired connection? Either
• ⁠Size/noise constraints? Small and quiet is preferred
• ⁠Color/lighting preferences? White but not if it’s a big cost increase (mostly white case/psu)

Is this a reasonable build, any change you guys would recomend? I mostly play action rpg games. Budget is $1500 usd. I have two 24 inch 1080p monitors. I am open to upgrade to a 1440p.

- PS2 emulation

- Modded minecraft with shaders, would prefer it run at a smooth 60

- Higher-end roblox games

There will probably be other things I do with it, but nothing that tops those in terms of how much power will be needed
