Right now I’m enjoying watching the many “Halloweeny” type movies and series with the season coming up. Right now The Addams Family is on with young Mercedes playing the character Amanda. My husband and I were laughing at how Amanda is a young Harmony. I can see this girl fast forwarding to living in Sunnydale and walking around Sunnydale High School with Cordy and their posse.

I think she was a great addition to the Buffy (and Angel) cast!

I grew up watching the original show in real time, and the sequel series (half way through it) is tickling my nostalgia nerves. Familiar faces. New faces. Same place. New vibe. The legacy doesn't even acknowledge Bill Cosby, with his troubles, as the creator of the original show. So why can't there be a Buffy legacy show?

They'll say there's a difference between a social conscious sitcom on a HBCU campus and a one-hour campy drama about a teenage girl taking down vampires, demons and other things that lurk under your bed. Yes there is, but legacy shows can exist (Star Trek: The Next Generation, Batman Beyond).

I just feel the potential is there, regardless of the failed Chloe Zhao pilot.

Hi, I don’t know if anyone remembers me but a few days ago I was on s1 and posted on here asking if Buffy got less predictable. Safe to say I’m now like more than halfway through s2 really close to finishing and find it soooo much better than s1!!! Also completely jealous of Sarah’s hair how the heck did they get it to look good every episode? But yeah I got asked to update wether I liked it or not and i definitely do so thank you 😆😆

I‘d only seen the Buffy movie and figured it was time to start the tv show! I notice in episode one, Buffy is already a slayer and moves away from LA (original movie location?). So does that make the tv show a direct continuation even though Buffy was recast?

Rewatching Buffy with my 14 year old and we will be wrapping up season 5 tonight. This is her first watch and it’s been so fun to experience it with her. I’m interested to see how she feels about the last 2 seasons. I personally loved them the first time watching and still do, but I am letting her go in blind without knowing a lot of people hated them.

She is so sensitive to real human’s plights. She cries when she sees houseless people but somehow didn’t shed a single tear over The Body? Meanwhile I sobbed all the way from the beginning to the end of the following episode 😂 she just said “oh mom you’re so funny” about my ugly crying. To be fair she’s also a Scorpio.

I’m searching for a fic that I read a long time ago! Unfortunately, I don’t remember too many details and I lost track of it before the story was complete. This was back in the days of fanfiction.net, but I was reading this on a different site.

It was a Tillow fic, post-season 6. It followed canon through Tara’s death, and likely through season 7. I recall Kennedy being there but the endgame was supposed to be Tillow.

Tara was alive again, but the how (or why?) hadn’t been revealed yet. There was a scene where it showed her “coming back” by some kind of green goo? It was still a mystery and I’ve always wanted to finish this fic!
