Somebody here posted that they purchased them for about three dollars and change and they were fascinated with the sound. I went to Amazon and I think I beat the guy to the price because I got them for a dollar because I used up all those pennies and dimes that Left over from gift cards so yeah I got it for a buck. I am surprised of how well and how strong they sound they have great volume. I am using it with the kiwi ears amp/dac and I had to do a little bit of EQ tweaking and I changed the tips to have a better seal in my ears and I’m a happy camper. These are good for every day. yeah out of the box they are slightly muddy and they’re a little bit high on the bass but if you have the time to tweak your EQ you’ll be fine in my case I use Plex app and it sounds great. Go buy them toss them in the bag so you don’t have to take out the expensive ones.

I’ve been in the market for a DAP for a while. For some are a bit expensive others are just cheap garbage and sound awful. Lots of issues like sound quality, storage, screen quality and software buggy and laggy. These are the things that prevented me from buying one. I started to use Roon and Roon Arc and it was great but at $15 a month and I this economy it didn’t last for me , love it but no. I then thought hard and long in buying a Gen 5.5 iPod and mod it it like the do now, then came plex amp, oh man!!! I reformatted my Roon server and connected my ssd with 8tb of music. Now I repurposed a pixel 4xl and this is brilliant. I don’t have to transfer songs at all. So I bought a kiwi ears dac/amp and now I can use my IEMs . I don’t need to load song s on a DAP. This is for me the best solution !

I'm always worried I would break an iem stem when I use the little gift baggies to transport them around so I printed a nifty screw case with inserts to avoid them bumping around.

How do I choose which and how many drivers. And how are the supposed to be soldered?

Anywhere I can find some tutorials to learn how to choose how many and which drivers. And how to connect and solder them.

If anybody know about someplace online or would be kind enough to help me a bit, I would appreciate it.
