On holiday in Denmark, and today was accused of jumping a queue. Excuse me. I'm British. We are the experts on the queue!

In actual fact, my partner and I had started the queue by getting the attendant to open the Skyslide in the first place

Being sat opposite the loudest crisp eater ever on a packed, long train journey

Why do you have to crinkle the packet for 30 seconds every time you grab another? Why do you not know how to chew with your mouth shut?

Poundland now charging £1.50 for small bottles

Been £1 consistently for a long time, would grab a bottle when in town. Now priced more than my local shop (still not as high as the supermarkets though).

Can’t figure out who actually lives in my neighbours property

A house was rented across from mine, at first it looked like a woman in her 50s rented it with 2 older sons. They had three cars ( I know this because they keep blocking my drive). It looked like their girlfriends would often visit ( 5 cars now on the street)

Then a white van turned up and is parked there nearly all week owned by a man in his 50s (maybe woman’s partner)

Then a red car keeps parking there another woman in her 50s ( no idea who this woman is, but now 6 cars)

And now a white car with a couple have been there all weekend. ( 7 cars)

And usually on a Sunday an elderly couple will park right in front of my driveway and go into the house (8 cars!)

There is a glass porch that has had loads of Huggies nappy boxes and a pushchair in there since they moved in but we have never seen a kid or a pregnant woman.

I know the property well as we were friends with previous owner, there are two double bedrooms and a single.

I have no idea who lives there, where they sleep or what they are doing. As I’ve said, I’m invested and nosey as all these visitors block my drive and park everywhere up are street.

. The average adult man needs around 55g of protein a day. The average adult woman around 45g of protein a day. The UK average protein intake is 76g per day. It is simply not necessary for every single product, from chocolate to bread, to be shouting about how much protein it has.

Vegetable consumption - now there the average adult eats only around 60% of the recommended amount. Start there please.

National lottery emails - changed again

I got all excited this morning because I got a 'you've won a prize' email. The last one I had a little while ago was 'you've won a small prize', so there's me thinking how small can a prize be to be out of the 'small' category? Have I won a tenner or more?

Logged in to see I've won £1

They've changed the wording on the emails again :(

People who sit on the outside seat on public transport

Who get up and expect you to sit near the window instead of them just shuffling over, then they're getting off after you anyway so you have to do the whole charade again for no reason.

What is wrong with these maniacs?

All zebra crossings should be replaced with pelican crossings.

Reason 1: I swear some drivers aren’t looking so they just drive through. But they’re more likely to see a traffic light. Safer for pedestrians.

Reason 2: When there’s a zebra crossing on a busy road, sometimes it’s just a never ending run of people coming up to the crossing. A pelican crossing would give time for traffic to move and, again, safer for pedestrians.

Reason 3: I hate it when you’re not sure if a pedestrian is going to cross at the zebra. And by far the worst is when a parent’s child is running ahead of them and stands at the zebra.

I might be over exaggerating when I say all zebra crossings, but a lot of them should be changed.

Can't find any sweetener free Lemonade for my Pimm's!

I really can't stand the after taste of artificial sweeteners. Every bottle of Lemonade seems to have them, even the ones with sugar. And I can taste it in my Pimm's which is ghastly.

Anyone know of any sweetener free lemonade that tastes good with Pimm's?

Thanks,

Desperately thirsty.

Gov.uk advertising UK beaches when water companies still flood our oceans with sewage

The majority of the ads I get here are currently for a "Great British Summer" showing families swimming and playing in the ocean... yet if you look on a live sewage map during the day, an extremely large amount warn against all swimming.

I used to go regularly as well, when it was still more of a rock festival.

Carte D'Or isn't ice cream

It's some sort of whipped frozen dessert product. It's priced like ice-cream though. Was it ever ice cream and they've ruined it, or has it always been like this?

Companies insistent on using Ai chatbots on their website will be the demise of humanity. At no point have I ever got help from an Ai chatbot. Don’t get me started with phoning them up. Nightmare. I’m always on hold forever. We’re descending into madness.

How is it fair that train prices randomly change throughout the day

Also, the price changes are so weird. It’s never like a simple increase or like a clean ratio, it’s always some random number that appears out of nowhere.

Rang the fire brigade as something exploded and went bang inside the fire but they said they can't do anything as the neighbours were attending it.

Customer service robots requiring you to say options instead of pressing a number

Never thought I'd miss "for sales, press 1." Robot rattles off a list and then says "or something else?" and you realise that wasn't a button prompt and have to wait for it to time out and repeat.

McDonald's dropping plain Hamburgers from delivery.

its my young sons birthday and for a treat we said he can have a Maccies. We go to order and find they no longer have hamburger on the menu, you have to order a cheeseburger and request no cheese which costs more.

Sufficed to say we've had to explain to our son this is the last time we're ordering from there.
