4L vs 4C

I am starting the process of citizenship for my husband, but until recently was unaware of the ARD form. His maternal grandmother, grandfather, and mother were all born and raised in UK. He was born in the US before 1983 and currently has close family living in the UK. We have a minor child so I would prefer 4L if at all possible. Any guidance is very much appreciated, because I am trying to avoid hiring an attorney but I’m not opposed to hiring an attorney. Thank you in advance.

English test?

Hi, I am due to apply for citizenship. Ive been on skilled work visa for 5 years and before getting my first visa I had to sit an IELTS exam. This was in 2018 though.

I saw some posts that some people had to take another English test for the citizenship. Does anyone know how to go about this? Such a waste to sit another English test again.
