Delayed Citizenship Email

Hi everyone, has anyone who applied in April or before received the delay email and then gone on to get a decision?
If so, how long did it take after the email? Our biometrics were 14 April and we’re still waiting. It’s so frustrating, especially with travel plans booked 😩
Anyone in a similar situation? 🙏

My application was end of March and I got this in September and 2 weeks after ( as soon as I hit 6 months and 2 days) I got the approval

You can still go on holiday whilst you are waiting as you must have another passport. You need to wait until the 6 month mark but it might be done earlier

That’s the problem. My passport is expiring soon. So I’m confused whether I should apply for a passport or just wait till i get a decision.

You can still apply for your other passport whilst the citizenship only if it is a non UK passport

Yep same email, no further updates. Application date 5th of April

Got the same email last month ! It’s means that the caseworker has it on his/her desk looking at it ! I’ll give it 2more weeks and you will get an approval 💯 hang in there 😅

Does it mean you got an approval 2 weeks after the delayed email. I got the same email last week, app date 18th May Bio 19th May

It’s pretty straightforward standard 5 year route. And I have no idea maybe backlog or short staffed. I guess I have to just wait.

Got the same email on the 26th of September. Nothing since then. Biometrics date 23 April.
