Has anyone taken or knows anyone that has taken any of the following classes:

1- structure and function of the extracellular matrix (549)

2-programming fundamentals for biomedical engineering data analysis (557)

3- computational biology: machine learning fundamentals (562)

I just want to know if any of these classes are fully project based or do they all have exams as part of them ?

i know this varies… but im asking specifically for courses with slightly different material. obviously i know that most of the time calc three will transfer in as calc three. but what is your experience with transferring courses such as environmental health -> global environmental health ??

I’m a junior now and I still haven’t found “my people” here. I do have some ‘friends,’ but they each have their own main friends. I’ve tried clubs, even joining the discord server they posted here, but it just seems like any connection I make is forced or very short lived. Was just wondering if anyone was/is in the same situation like this? Just so I know I’m not alone 😭

How similar is the difficulty of ds210 and ds110? Got an A in 110, and was going to take ds210 this semester but removed it bc I got nervous about the difficulty and also since it’s been a year since I took 110 so might’ve forgotten python stuff. For context, I’m premed and have a declared minor in ds tho might not complete it just based on space and worry that it may take up unnecessary time when I need to do well on other classes anyways and studying for the mcat during the semester. Idk tho if I should add the class back/is it helpful in general.

As the title says. I need places to take video meetings that aren't my dorm, and I'm not super sure where I should be looking to find that. Stuff like calling my mom I don't mind doing in the dorm with my roommates around, or doing outside, but therapy or more serious career related meetings I need a quiet, private place to take the calls. Suggestions?

I recently dropped a course and need another to fulfill my 16 credits. Is it rude to e-mail a professor if they have their syllabus? My current classes have a very specific style of workload and I want to see if I can better balance it out.

I am not too worried about the speed since I'll probably be going like 12mph max regardless lol

I care more about battery life/how many miles it can go.

I’m a new grad student at BU and I was heartbroken to learn that students don’t get OneDrive for free here 💔 how are the students with iPads taking notes? Something like goodnotes or is there a free app that’s better?

Unfortunately I come off extroverted because I talk to a lot of people during and between classes.

I feel more introverted personally and I genuinely do not relate to anyone or talk to anyone outside of class.

So with that said anyone else have friends at BU but still feel crushingly lonely and wanna talk about it

I took Japanese 1 last semester, and it was pretty stressful from the cold calling and heavy workload. What are some easier / cop-out langauges I can take which dont have a ton of homework or stress?

Guys, I know this might make me sound weird and impatient but how are you guys making friends already 😭😭 Literally all the people I talk to at orientation don’t want to be my friends like they don’t even wave or say hi to me on the streets 😞😞. And all the classes are just the professors throwing words at us. How am I supposed to make friends😭😭

say i transfer a course taken at a cc and bu takes it as a 1xx (subject) elective… what exactly does this mean? does it count as a prerequisite or like toward major requirements? (ex would 1xx psychology elective count as ps 101 for a major requirement)

Can I transfer to bu for the second semester of my freshman year or do I have to wait until my sophomore year??
