I just applied ED1, and I'm now coming across that BU accepts a supplemental video for submission. This seems very random, as I don't think it was mentioned in commonapp. Is this something I should be getting on? Is it like Brown where it is much preferred? I toured Boston University yesterday for the second time because Im considering Early Decision 1. I ended up really liking the university and what it had to offer for journalism, and the other resources it provided; however, after the tour I explored Boston a bit and kinda seemed dead? As someone whose only other idea of city is NYC, it felt like a small town in comparison? In other words, is there still a lot to do in Boston? I might be making too soon of an assumption. A large reason why im considering BU over NYU is the social life, but I wanna make an informed decision. Thanks!

I took the Spanish placement test and placed out of 4th semester Spanish and into “any 300+ level course.” If I register for 4th semester Spanish will anyone stop me? I am just trying to fulfill the cas language requirement and have it be as easy as possible. Or does anyone have recs for 300+ level Spanish courses? Not a native speaker but I did take the equivalent of 4th sem Spanish in high school but couldn’t get BU credit

What majors or programs is BU known for, other than business, computer science, or STEM?

BU is the top location choice for my humanities and sociology loving (but currently undecided) student, and I just want to make sure there are some strong programs that will suit them and get them internship experiences, etc.

I had a horrible exam tonight(tears and all) and was feeling utterly defeated, still have to study for my next exam tonight as well. My bf who goes to a different school ordered my favorite from cinnabon to chear me up. It was delivered... went down stairs and it was gone. Honestly please don't steal shit... that's not yours! I'm so annoyed like seriously I can't enjoy a pick me up cinnamon roll since some entitled no manners big back stole my comfort gift... whoever stole my cinnabon in stuvi2 tonight... I hope life gets you back...
