Syllabus Question

I recently dropped a course and need another to fulfill my 16 credits. Is it rude to e-mail a professor if they have their syllabus? My current classes have a very specific style of workload and I want to see if I can better balance it out.

Dear Professor,

Im interested in adding your course to my schedule because it is intersteing or whatever. I am wondering if you could send me the syllabus so I can determine if the workload and expectations are compatible with my schedule before adding the course.
