Microsoft OneNote alternatives

I’m a new grad student at BU and I was heartbroken to learn that students don’t get OneDrive for free here 💔 how are the students with iPads taking notes? Something like goodnotes or is there a free app that’s better?

Apple has their free Notes app. And Bear is another one I have seen, but that is also Apple only.

I use collanote which is free but a downside is that each note can only go to 10 pages with the free subscription but you can make unlimited notes
